Campbell County Health began as Campbell County Memorial Hospital in 1953 as a 31-bed community hospital. Since then, Campbell County Health has become affiliated with the University of Colorado Health system, grown to a 90-bed licensed facility with over 25 specialty service lines in 6 locations serving patients across Campbell, Crook, Weston & Johnson counties in northeast Wyoming.
About the Role:
Campbell County Health is seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will supervise CRNAs during the day and cover OB/epidurals. CRNAs cover epidurals during the night/weekends. MD/DO covers surgical cases during the night/weekends. MD/DO must be comfortable with regional anesthesia including spinal, Epidural, and different types of Peripheral Nerve blocks. Potential of Medical Directorship with proven experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision Model of Care
- Administer general or local anesthetics to patients.
- Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesia and counteract adverse reactions or complications.
- Record type and amount of anesthesia and patient condition throughout procedure.
- Provide and maintain life support and airway management.
- Confer with other medical professionals to determine type and method of anesthetic or sedation to render patient insensible to pain.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and possible complications.
- Instruct individuals and groups on ways to preserve health and prevent disease.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and anesthesiology residency.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration for the prescription of controlled substances.
- In-depth knowledge of current anesthesia practices and standards.
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Wyoming;
