Performs duties relating to the cutting, preparation, display, and selling of meat products.   • Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).

  • Monitors and assists in preventing spoilage.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess call situations to determine the appropriate course of action using Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize Paramedic skills with medical equipment and procedures such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen devices, and IV fluids to provide advanced care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing reassurance and information about the care being delivered.
  • Act as team leader, managing the scene and ensuring effective unit management when required.
  • Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow Paramedics.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Education/Licensing/Certification:
    High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
    California Driver's License
    Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
    Medical Examiner's Card
    State of California Paramedic License
    CPR Card (AHA ONLY, Health Care Provider; handwritten cards not accepted)
    ACLS Card (AHA ONLY, handwritten cards not accepted)
    PALS Card (AHA ONLY, handwritten cards not accepted) or PEPP
    Driving record compliant with safety policies (proof required if conditional employment is made)
    ICS courses including IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B
