JOB GOAL: Under supervision, to maintain an assigned school facility, group of buildings, or office space in a clean, orderly, and secure manner following a predetermined schedule; and to do other related work as required.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and seal floors.
- Vacuum rugs and carpets.
- Dust, wash, and polish furniture and woodwork.
- Empty and clean waste receptacles, including trash barrels.
- Cleans restrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
- Wash windows and walls, polish metalwork and clean chalkboards.

- Cleans window coverings, such as drapes and blinds.

- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Job Summary
Summary: Performs administrative tasks, trains team members and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates. Acts as a resource for others due to knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
- Conducts one-on-one training as needed.
- Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
- Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
- Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
- Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
- Performs reviews, i.e., monthly safety performance review, in order to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable company/federal/state/local requirements and policies.
- Performs walk-through building inspections as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing

Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment

Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.

Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
