**Workplace Flexibility:** **2nd Shift (Onsite Role):**
This position operates on the 2nd shift schedule from **2:00 PM to 10:30 PM** , overseeing a team whose working hours are **3:30 PM to 12:00 AM** . The supervisor begins earlier to ensure a smooth and effective transition between the 1st and 2nd shifts. This is a **100% onsite role** requiring hands-on leadership and coordination.
**What you will do**
+ Lead and supervise QC personnel in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System in compliance with FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485, and other applicable standards.
+ Oversee daily QC operations including Receiving Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspections across assigned business units to ensure quality objectives are met.
+ Execute quality-related processes throughout the product lifecycle-from development and launch to manufacturing, distribution, and post-market follow-up-while developing global processes and implementing them locally.
+ Participate in global development and product improvement projects to ensure quality aspects are addressed and integrated effectively.
+ Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to provide quality feedback and training to production staff, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement.
+ Support company-wide QSR and ISO training initiatives and monitor product/process requirements, including initiating and analyzing non-conformances.
+ Review and act on nonconformances related to incoming, in-process, and finished products; ensure timely raw material inspections and confirm materials meet specifications and drawings.
+ Ensure QC personnel are properly trained, coordinate daily activities across all QC shifts to support manufacturing and engineering goals, and perform other duties as assigned.

+ Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of 6+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 2+ years of QA/QC experience with a strong commitment to adhering to internal procedures and compliance standards.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate understanding of technical specifications, support quality inspections, and verify product compliance with design requirements.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel), with strong computer and math skills for calibration and measurement; comfortable with extensive computer usage.
+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally and tolerate extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and speaking.
**Preferred**
+ Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to guide teams, support quality initiatives, and foster a collaborative work environment.

+ Preferred Certifications:

+ Receive trade partner test and inspection requests and produce a coordinated test and inspection schedule.
+ Document and submit a daily report of quality control activity for the Electrical scope of work.
+ Audit the Electrical scope of work trade partner quality control procedures. Report chronic problems with trade partner work or quality control programs to upper management.
+ Participate in the selection process for outside testing contractors and verify adherence to testing standards, frequency and documentation. Coordinate third party testing agency activities with Hensel Phelps and the Electrical scope of work trade partners. Coordinate and schedule for source inspections.

+ Conduct daily on-site pre-inspections of Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving work scopes to verify that installation and testing requirements are being met in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes through to completion.
+ Collaborate with Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving trade partners to actively participate in issue resolution, ensuring timely identification, communication, and closure of field-related challenges to maintain project schedule and quality standards.
+ Proactively identify field issues related to Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving systems and track all deficiencies noted by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Verify that all corrective actions have been completed through direct field verification and maintain thorough documentation of issue resolution and compliance.
+ Participate actively in all phases of Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving system implementation, including startup, material verification, full installation, system testing, and inspection processes. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable codes and standards through completion of their scope of work.
+ Provide daily reports to the Quality Control Manager detailing inspection activities, issue tracking and resolution status, coordination activities with trade partners and AHJs, and overall compliance with contract documents, project specifications, and applicable codes.
+ Support and participate in shop fabrication and inspection visits as necessary to ensure that Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving systems are fabricated in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes prior to installation.
+ Participate in the start-up and implementation of the six-step quality control/safety process for the Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving scope of work. This includes the start-up and implementation of the site-specific quality program to include the quality control plan, quality process log, test register and quality point files. Participate in Lead the weekly QC meetings and trade partner foreman meeting as directed by the QC Manager.
+ Assist with the development of the preparatory meeting agendas and participate in the preparatory meeting prior to the start of each the Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving definable feature of work. Review and maintain the project quality process log (QPL).
+ Interface directly with owner's quality assurance and management on all quality-related issues.
+ Review and participate in all Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving initial and follow-up inspection reports, and close-in inspection results.
+ Be fully aware of the contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes.
+ Receive trade partner test and inspection requests and produce a coordinated test and inspection schedule.
+ Document and submit a daily report of quality control activity for the Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving scope of work.
+ Audit the Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving scope of work trade partner quality control procedures. Report chronic problems with trade partner work or quality control programs to upper management.
+ Participate in the selection process for outside testing contractors and verify adherence to testing standards, frequency and documentation. Coordinate third party testing agency activities with Hensel Phelps and the Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, and Civil Paving scope of work trade partners. Coordinate and schedule for source inspections.

**Compensation Range (Southern California Only)**
Salary range: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00
