These Supply Chain interns will be a part of a Georgia-Pacific program called JumpStart. The JumpStart program is designed to emphasize business strategy and techniques, offering exposure to a variety of business functions and capabilities across Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products business (Retail & Away-From-Home).

Our Team
The JumpStart program is an entry level training program and is one of the future talent pipelines for Georgia-Pacific business functions. This program will allow entry level talent to get training and exposure to various cross-functional capabilities while mutually creating value. Interns engage in sessions that introduce various areas of the business and participate in coordinated networking opportunities with leadership to broaden their learning horizons. We enable and advance the skill and capability building for a quicker impact when employees are hired into their full-time role. If hired into the full-time JumpStart program after graduation, employees can expect to spend time rotating amongst different groups to gain exposure to the different parts of the business.
What You Will Do
Georgia-Pacific's internship program offers exposure to a variety of business functions and capabilities across Georgia Pacific's Consumer Products business (Retail & Away-From-Home). Throughout the program, interns will own a strategic project aligned with business initiatives in planning, strategy and analytics, warehouse operations, packaging, etc. The project will be matched with the skills and interests of the intern.
Our interns work alongside our employees to solve real problems and offer insights that benefit society through improving our products and services. - Demand Planning Support:
- Assist in collecting and analyzing historical sales data to support accurate demand forecasting.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather market intelligence and demand inputs.
- Help update demand plans and track forecast accuracy.
- Supply Planning Support:
- Work with supply planners to review production schedules and inventory levels.
- Help identify potential supply constraints and recommend solutions to meet demand.
- Assist in generating supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and business goals.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Use Excel and supply chain planning tools (SAP) to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in process improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
- Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and accuracy.
- Enrolled in a college degree program OR alternative program. (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Enrolled in a college degree program or alternative program. (e.g., 4-year university, 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
- Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 202 8 .
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship after graduation .
What Will Put You Ahead

Position Summary: The opportunity:
- Help with Configuration & setup of O9 Enterprise Modeler by creating, constructing, and modifying an Enterprise Planning Model
- Experience with strategic planning, financial planning, medium-term, and tactical or operational planning within Supply chain management
- A solid understanding of supply chain planning concepts, including network planning, Optimization, Distribution Planning, Master Planning, and Sales and operations planning (S&OP)
- Experience with constraint-based planning, infinite planning, and rough cut capacity planning
- Experience with the entire lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation, including business requirement gathering, solution design & build, UAT/SIT, go-live/cutover, and value realization
- Experience using agile methodology to deliver large-scale enterprise implementations
- Experience in integrating multiple ERP systems and implementing an end-to-end supply chain solution
How will you impact WestRock:
- Help WestRock Demand planning team improve forecast accuracy, system adaptability, and simplify business processes with demand planning architecture
- Deliver key functional use cases for Supply Planning in the O9 Supply Planning tool
- Configuring o9 for Constrained Plan, Master & Aggregate Supply Planning, Safety Stock, Transactional Data Flow, Plan Parameters, Requirements Plan, Capacity Planning

- Achieve BU reporting SLA's and recommend improvements on KPI's and delivery of these reports
- Understand Planning Parameters, and their impact on the Supply Chain Solver (SCS) runs, O9 batch orchestration
- Matching demand and Supply by using O9 Supply Chain Solver (SCS) by configuring SCS to execute the most efficient plan by adhering to the business priorities/rules such as Demand/Customer Priorities, Inventory Policies, and Demand Fulfilment
What you need to succeed:
- Experience with supply chain planning tools like O9 IBP (preferred), JDA or SAP IBP, or Kinaxis
- Experience in configuring planning levels, attributes, master data dimensions, and batch job management
- Experience with gathering requirements and writing or reviewing FSD, KDD, and Solution design documents
- Experience with expert understanding of demand planning, statistical forecast generation, aggregation, and disaggregation
- Collaborate with project managers to document issues, risks, action items, and project team decisions from project meetings
