The Role

The Operations Technician will work in a challenging, hands on environment supporting government customers.

The Main Responsibilities

Configures and tests network fiber optic equipment (OC-3, OC-12, OC-48 and OC-192). Phones, routers, switches, gateways, install, commission, configure BLSR ADM terminal shelves, CSU/DSU, audio, and frame relays, IP- Ethernet Switches and Perform Basic Router Configuration. Experience with SONET and DWDM equipment and Networks required. Perform DS-3 cabling terminations (BNC, etc); cable trough/ladder rack construction. Construct fiber optic pigtails and terminate and test fiber optic cables. Perform limited electrical work such as wiring of rectifiers and small breakers. Perform Central office wiring. Uses software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network status and performance. May support Outside plant activities as required for cable placement, splicing, and testing.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Experience in network installation maintenance, and operations of classified government high speed optical transport system and system components

Ability to redline as-built drawings and update Engineering Design Packages (EDPs)

Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Software, or Networks; or a related technical or vocational education or equivalent experience. Five or more years applicable work experience.

Experience with SONET and DWDM Platforms required.

Experience with Infinera, Cisco, and Ciena equipment beneficial

Under Supervision, installs and troubleshoots DC power Systems

Knowledge of telecommunications installations standards required.

Knowledge of telecommunications test equipment, operation, procedures, and practices

Knowledge of Outside Plant practices is a plus

Experience with MS Office suite

Strong people skills

- Will be a Sr. member of the team, looking for leadership qualities and critical thinking
- Governance Team around building process and governance. This position will support the Configuration Management Team, comprised of 5 people (one manager, two process people, and two developers). Overall, they draft data for reporting purposes. This is strategic for bringing in thought leadership in terms of process improvement and building new process and integrating existing process.

**Job Description**
**Job Summary**
Establish a specifically designed Operational Regulatory Oversight program that effectively prevents and/or detects violation of applicable laws and regulations, which will protect the Business from liability and potential risk. Ensures that the Business understands and complies with applicable laws and regulations pertaining to the Health Care environment
**Job Duties**
The Operational/Regulatory Oversight Sr. Analyst works with health plans and operations departments to assess, oversee, and recommend business practices to ensure adherence to and compliance with State and Federal regulatory guidelines. The Sr. Analyst develops and performs audits and oversight functions involving business-critical operations and vendor outsourcing arrangements for the company. The Sr. Analyst also validates the appropriate oversight, reporting, and controls are in place for the operational functions of the organization and outsourced vendor work. The Sr. Analyst providers peer level support to Analysts in the department through training and guidance on audits and corrective action plans. The following are examples of specific duties of the role:
- Interprets and analyzes state and federal regulatory rules, contracts, and other guidance to assess compliance and support building regulatory compliance audit procedures.
- At the direction of management, coordinates and performs oversight audits and validation activities to ensure operational regulatory compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations, contract provisions, and internal policies and procedures.
- Supports the Operational Oversight Manager, Director, and team in the general development of the Operational Oversight Program including, but not limited to, analyzing risk areas, providing recommendations, performing audits, creating reports, educating and following up with business areas and owners to ensure processes and reporting exists to demonstrate compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Supports Manager and Director with developing the Operational Oversight Work Plan, monitoring and reporting status of audit project tasks, and reporting on overall status of audit projects.
- Support health plans and MHI Business Owners with external regulatory audit requests by coordinating the audit from beginning to end, including scheduling and facilitating meeting cadenances, the completion of audit risk assessments, the preparation and submission of sample universes, and submission of SOPs, training materials, and/or other evidence as part of regulatory audits. With support from Management, review and identify new Key Performance Indicators (KPI) required, support updating master KPI repository playbook with regulatory citations identified. Identify and assist with creating new policy and procedures or modified existing documents.
- May develop and analyze trend reports to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance and performance improvement standards and for identification of any training needs; May create and maintain summary Key Performance Indicator (KPI) compliance reports for Corporate Operations.

**Job Qualifications**
**REQUIRED EDUCATION:**

We are seeking a Senior Director, Federal Government Affairs to lead our U.S. federal government engagement in Washington, DC. This position reports to the Vice President, Government Affairs & Public Policy, within the Corporate Affairs function.
As the strategic leader, and a member of the Government Affairs Leadership Team, the Senior Director of the Federal Government Affairs will play an integral role in developing and implementing coordinated federal advocacy strategies with policy makers and officials on issues that impact Otsuka and the patients we seek to support. The Senior Director will steer an increasingly active federal government affairs operation, ensuring that both Otsuka's enterprise business and therapeutic interests, and the U.S.-based innovation ecosystem, are provisioned for in a multitude of public policy, legislative, and regulatory regimes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the strategic leader of the Federal Government Affairs function within Government Affairs, setting a vision for the operation and managing resources to achieve policy, legislative, regulatory, and reputational goals that support core enterprise and therapeutic objectives.
Develop and lead outreach, relations, and collaboration with federal lawmaker, agency officials, and relevant partner organizations.
Collaborate across Government Affairs & Public Policy and Corporate Affairs to advance enterprise, therapeutic, and brand objectives.
Work with other relevant internal stakeholders (e.g., Brand Teams, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Clinical) to help anticipate, analyze, plan, and respond to an evolving political environment, incorporating opportunities and risks into brand and corporate goals.

Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and US policymakers.
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively influence internal and external stakeholders.
