Hundreds of growing companies use Thoropass's compliance automation platform, expert services, auditors and partner ecosystem to get and stay compliant over the lifetime of their business. We offer SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and other infosec and privacy frameworks.
We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and raised our Series C funding in November 2022. Our top investors include: J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Fin Capital, Centana, and Bain Capital. We're growing customers and revenue dramatically and we're poised for continued break-out growth in 2024 and beyond.
About the Role
We're looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to take charge of growing Thoropass' demand function and programs. You'll lead the way in program orchestration and optimization-everything from web strategy and analytics, to paid ads, SEO, content, and event marketing.
You'll report to our VP, Marketing and join a collaborative, results-oriented team that knows how to work hard and have fun. We're looking for someone highly analytical, creative, quick to adapt, and comfortable managing strategy and execution (with some help from agencies and contractors).
If you're humble, driven, not afraid to own a number and be accountable to revenue goals, and love working as part of a team, this might be your perfect fit. Bring your expertise, passion for making an impact, and a sense of humor-we like to keep things real around here.
Let's talk responsibilities:
Strategy
- Set the vision and define the future state of Growth for the company.
- Steward the culture of innovation, lead with an experimental mindset, encourage the team to fail, and fail fast.
- Lead the orchestration of the growth strategy for the GTM org including but not limited to: paid search, paid social, content, events (virtual and in-person), lifecycle marketing, account based marketing, SEO (search everywhere optimization), marketing operations, and inbound routing.
- Expand upon the foundation to lead the org into the next phase of growth by partnering closely with the Demand Gen Manager, RevOps, and GTM leadership on the design and optimization of our internal marketing systems, including attribution, signal scoring, lead follow-up, and more.
- Partner closely with the VP of Marketing to prepare for quarterly business reviews, board meetings, budget planning, and other internal initiatives.
- Lead our quarterly Inbound forecasting process to accurately project lead & pipeline impact by channel.
- Manage the growth marketing budget.
- Serve as the bridge and ally between marketing and sales
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, content, design and web development to ensure our website experience aligns with brand & performance goals.
- Lead the engagement with our content/SEO resources to optimize site performance and increase organic traffic and conversion.
- Regularly analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, & other metrics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and solve challenges creatively.
- Lean in to help drive the strategy for CRO through site personalization and A/B testing.
- Regularly share updates, learnings & recommendations with broader team & leadership.
- Oversee an annual budget spanning paid search, paid social, bespoke content creation (like partnering with Caspian Studios to create Scam Hunters), and new channel testing.
- Develop, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across relevant channels, such as Google and LinkedIn, collaborating with design to create effective ad assets.
- Regularly monitor campaign performance and optimize for key metrics such as CPL & lead to opp conversion, as well as sales follow-up SLAs.
- Experience: 7-10 years of demand gen / growth marketing experience in B2B SaaS, particularly for post Series B companies & with a technical/security audience.
- Influence: Strong organizational & leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and initiatives.
- Detail-Orientated: Manage multiple projects & prioritize effectively; move quickly while maintaining quality execution. In other words, Asana is your love language.
- Self-Starter: Operate independently & solve problems proactively while aligning with broader marketing strategy & goals.
- Analytical: Strong aptitude for interpreting performance data to unlock insights about our market, business, channels & campaigns.
- Technical: Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, VWO, Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, Keyplay.

- The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000 and will be based on experience and skill set
- Immediate access to health, dental, and vision care
- Early equity in a fast-growing company
- Hybrid work from home model
- Flexible PTO

- Monthly wellness stipend
