Responsibilities
As an STNA, you will care for guests under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Take and record vital signs.
- Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
- Care for the guests environment.
- Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting.
- Assist with eating and hydration.
- Observe guests skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed.
- Meet guests mental health and social service needs.
Qualifications
- High school graduate/GED.
- STNA certification (State of Ohio).
- or acceptable exemption required.

**Position:** Patient Care Tech (NA/CNA/PCT)
**Location:** Select Specialty Hospital - Wheeling (located inside Wheeling Hospital)
**Schedule:** PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour shifts, Days
**Compensation:** $20.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends
**Select Specialty Hospital** is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. As a critical illness recovery hospital, we help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives - and our Nursing Assistants (NA) play central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
+ Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
+ BLS is required within 90 days of hire
