These APPs have advanced education and clinical training, enabling them to provide a broad spectrum of services, from acute care to preventative healthcare.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The Chief Advanced Practice Provider (Chief APP) at Harborview Medical Center is a clinical, strategic and operational leader responsible for the direction, oversight, and advancement of nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), and other advanced practice providers (APPs) across all clinical settings
This role provides high-level leadership that ensures APP practice is safe, effective, efficient, and aligned with Harborview's mission of serving the most vulnerable with compassion and excellence
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Chief APP will manage over 200 FTEs across many different budgets and supervise APPs on both inpatient medical services (acute and critical care) as well as in the ambulatory setting
The Chief APP will interface with students from multiple programs across the state and nationally
Serve as the senior leader and advocate for APPs across Harborview, ensuring alignment of APP practice with the mission, vision, and strategic goals of the organization
Lead workforce strategy and management for APPs across all service lines and settings
Work clinically in their area of specialty (8 to 12 hours per week)
Supervise and mentor APP directors and managers, providing clear expectations, performance feedback, and leadership development

REQUIREMENTS
Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution

The Opportunity

• Seeking Board Certified Neurology physicians.
• Ideally fellowship trained in Neurophysiology, Epilepsy, or Neuro-Muscular.
• Interested in or have experience with reading EEG's.
• 8- and 9-hour tele rounding/EEG shifts.
• Provider can work tele rounding only if they don't want to read EEG's.
• 7 on/7 off model (14 shifts per month).
• Must have a CA license and be willing to apply for a Washington medical license.

Description:
Looking for an Operating Room Registered Nurse to work night shifts.
The nurse will be responsible for circulating in the operating room.
Experience with neuro and cardiac cases is strongly preferred.
Experience with additional specialties, including orthopedic sports and laparoscopic procedures, is a plus.
The unit operates in a busy, high-acuity environment.
The average daily case volume is 50-75 cases, with 28 rooms available.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
The nurse may also need to perform charge duties.
Candidates should be comfortable with floating to other specialties if needed.
