**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

The Clinical Director is a key member of the regional clinical leadership team responsible for executing market-level clinical strategy, supporting provider performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive quality, utilization, and cost-of-care outcomes. **Clinical Strategy Execution & Provider Engagement**
The Clinical Director will partner with provider leadership by:

- Strengthening relationships, enhancing clinical performance, and driving improvements in patient experience and operational excellence

- Supporting Joint Operating Committees (JOCs) and facilitating implementation with pilots around reducing cost of care and improving chronic health care outcomes.
**Data-Driven Performance Management**
Working closely with analytics and finance teams, the Clinical Director will:
- Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends in quality and utilization, and support the development of targeted action plans.
- Prepare performance dashboards, conduct root cause analyses, and facilitate provider education and remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with hospital partners to align on shared performance goals, support data transparency, and drive improvements in clinical outcomes, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the Regional VP of Health Services to align clinical programs with payer-specific needs and market dynamics.
**Innovation & Program Implementation**
The Clinical Director will implement regional pilots and vendor-supported programs, ensuring operational readiness and provider adoption. This includes:
- Advancing the rollout of remote monitoring tools, clinical pathway platforms, and other tech-enabled care solutions
- Working with hospital teams to integrate innovative solutions into inpatient and transitional care workflows, tracking program performance, escalating barriers to adoption, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts that enhance both provider and patient experience.
**Governance & Delegation Oversight**
The Clinical Director will participate in governance committees and support vendor and delegation oversight activities, including:
- Ensuring compliance with clinical policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with hospital leadership to align governance practices
- Promoting operational excellence across delegated entities and facility-based care settings.
**Use your skills to make an impact**
Qualifications:
+ Clinical degree with active unrestricted license (e.g. RN, NP,)
+ 5+ years of experience in clinical operations, care management, or provider performance improvement.
+ 5+ years experience in managed care industry, either provider or payer.
+ Strong understanding of value-based care, population health, and quality metrics (e.g., Stars, HEDIS, MRA).
+ Proficiency in quickly monitoring clinical and financial data and communicating it to drive decision-making and action across teams.
+ Demonstrate ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging executive and clinical audiences.

+ Discontinue dialysis treatment according to established procedures
+ Evaluate patient prior to termination of venous access - standing & sitting blood pressure.

+ Responsible for ensuring appropriate safety alarms are enabled including Narrow Venous Limits (NVL) 160.
+ Record accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters onto the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification.
+ Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and if applicable progress notes.
+ Report any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to the nurse supervisor.
+ Observe patient and conduct machine safety checks according to facility policy. Report any change or unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.
+ Perform and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
+ Evaluate patients' vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures provide appropriate intervention as needed document and report any unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.
+ Obtain all prescribed laboratory testing and prepare specimens for collection.
MAINTENANCE/TECHNICAL:
+ Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
+ Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface chair equipment and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.
+ Conduct all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and document where appropriate.
+ Perform all required pretreatment dialysis machine alarm testing including Pressure Holding (PHT).
+ Initiate Solution Delivery System (SDS) system.
+ Ensure that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to facility policy.
+ Prepare organize and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment to prevent wastage.
CLERICAL & ADMINISTRATIVE:
+ Complete and document ongoing participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
+ Enters all treatment data into the designated clinical application accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Review treatment sheets for completeness ensure nursing signatures are documented and ensure omitted entries are completed or corrected where appropriate.
+ Prepare initial patient chart for admission and compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart.
+ Prepare lab requisitions for prescribed or stat Lab specimens according to laboratory destination.
+ Collect label appropriately prepare and store lab samples according required laboratory specifications.
+ Ensure collection of lab specimens by appropriate lab courier.

+ Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and, if applicable, progress notes.
+ Report any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to the nurse supervisor.
+ Observe patient, and conduct machine safety checks according to facility policy. Report any change or unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.
+ Perform and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
+ Evaluate patients' vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures, provide appropriate intervention as needed, document and report any unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.

MAINTENANCE/TECHNICAL:
+ Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
+ Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.
+ Conduct all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and document where appropriate.
+ Perform all required pretreatment dialysis machine alarm testing including Pressure Holding (PHT).
+ Initiate Solution Delivery System (SDS) system.
+ Ensure that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to facility policy.
+ Prepare, organize, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment to prevent wastage.
CLERICAL & ADMINISTRATIVE:
+ Complete and document ongoing participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
+ Enters all treatment data into the designated clinical application accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Review treatment sheets for completeness, ensure nursing signatures are documented, and ensure omitted entries are completed or corrected where appropriate.
+ Prepare initial patient chart for admission and compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart.
+ Prepare lab requisitions for prescribed or stat Lab specimens according to laboratory destination.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Global SVP HSE, the Senior Director HSE Professional Services executes the business model and productization strategy for HSE professional consulting services including portfolio and product lines of ready-made solutions. This includes building internal subject-matter expertise, leading a marketing approach and managing service delivery. This position interfaces with internal and external clients, as well as partners closely with various key executives and leaders in the GWS business development/sales teams, Product Organization, HSE and Operations (AD's, MD's, Transitions Teams) across all lines of business for identification and qualification of opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Model, Productization Strategy and Growth
+ Develops and executes on a high-impact strategy/roadmap for HSE professional services aligned to strategic business goals and growth priorities.
+ Establishes the firm as a recognized HSE leader among customer and industry groups to build brand, accelerate external HSE services and market access through partnerships and acquisitions.
+ Builds internal HSE professional consulting capabilities including HSE professional services talent management, recruitment, and strategic partnerships with established HSE consulting partners.

Product Management & Marketing
+ Working with established Business Development teams, completes market segmentation and targeting to identify ideal target client/markets based on target needs, internal HSE capabilities, and CBRE market differentiation.
+ Partners with marketing and creative teams to develop supporting business development and pursuit material including slicks, leave-behinds, etc.
+ Works to trademark key intellectual property of the company to drive competitiveness and differentiation.
Business Development & Sales
+ Partners with Alliance Directors, Managing Directors and other line of business leaders internally and externally (e.g. A&T) to GWS to secure new and expanded HSE business opportunities through analyzing, prospecting, networking, relationship building and selling additional CBRE services to current client base.
+ Leverages existing sales teams by establishing relationships educating on HSE as a discipline and associated HSE ready-made solutions.
+ Manages and actively participates in the development of sales presentations, RFP's, project charters, schedules and budgets.
+ Engages in global, national, and local industry and professional associations for the purpose of creating new contacts and generating new business.
+ Executes business development calls (virtually and in-person), develops proposals and closes deals.

+ Provides overall executive leadership and management of the HSE Transitions Team in strong partnership with the EA Transitions lead executive; works to ensure HSE is appropriately positioned in the value chain.
+ Manages the CBRE GWS external Partners Excellence Program HSE consulting network of providers across AMS, EMEA & APAC.
+ Assists the team in executing a variety of services to support the client when necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university with focus in occupational safety, business or similar focus.
+ Minimum 15 years within the HSE professional consulting services industry advising, designing, developing, implementing and sustaining EHS programs, systems & processes.
+ Minimum of 15 years of progressive management experience leading multi-disciplined and cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
+ Experience in designing business models and strategy to offer HSE Professional Services, or 5+ years within a large-mid size firm or 7-10 years as an individual consultant.
+ Leadership experience with large organizations supporting policy making, regionalization, change management, cultural change, and regional team leadership.
Preferred
+ Leadership experience serving as an HSE consulting practice leader or Principal HSE Consultant
+ A proven track record of executing and operationalizing a global strategy successfully across a complex, regional structure including successfully driving a change agenda.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

The Medical Director's work includes computer based review of moderately complex to complex clinical scenarios, review of all submitted clinical records, prioritization of daily work, communication of decisions to internal associates, and possible participation in care management. The clinical scenarios predominantly arise from inpatient or post-acute care environments. Has discussions with external physicians by phone to gather additional clinical information or discuss determinations regularly, and in some instances these may require conflict resolution skills. Some roles include an overview of coding practices and clinical documentation, grievance and appeals processes, and outpatient services and equipment, within their scope.
The Medical Director may speak with contracted external physicians, physician groups, facilities, or community groups to support regional market priorities, which may include an understanding of Humana processes, as well as a focus on collaborative business relationships, value based care, population health, or disease or care management. **Responsibilities**
The Medical Director provides medical interpretation and determinations whether services provided by other healthcare professionals are in agreement with national guidelines, CMS requirements, Humana policies, clinical standards, and (in some cases) contracts. The ideal candidate supports and collaborates with other team members, other departments, Humana colleagues and the Regional VP Health Services. After completion of mentored training, daily work is performed with minimal direction. Enjoys working in a structured environment with expectations for consistency in thinking and authorship. Exercises independence in meeting departmental expectations, and meets compliance timelines. **Candidates must be able to start with 30-60 days of hire.**
**Required Qualifications**
+ MD or DO degree
+ **Valid Florida Medical license**
+ 5+ years of direct clinical patient care experience post residency or fellowship, which preferably includes some experience in an inpatient environment and/or related to care of a Medicare type population (disabled or >65 years of age).
+ Current and ongoing Board Certification an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
+ A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction and willing to obtain additional license, if required.
+ No current sanction from Federal or State Governmental organizations, and able to pass credentialing requirements.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
+ Evidence of analytic and interpretation skills, with prior experience participating in teams focusing on quality management, utilization management, case management, discharge planning and/or home health or post acute services such as inpatient rehabilitation.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ **Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Geriatrics, Hospitalist, Emergency Medicine clinical specialists with recent inpatient experience preferred**
+ Knowledge of the managed care industry including Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid and/or Commercial products, or other Medical management organizations, hospitals/ Integrated Delivery Systems, health insurance, other healthcare providers, clinical group practice management.
+ Utilization management experience in a medical management review organization, such as Medicare Advantage, managed Medicaid, or Commercial health insurance.
+ Experience with national guidelines such as MCG® or InterQual
+ Advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, MPH
+ Exposure to Public Health, Population Health, analytics, and use of business metrics.
+ Experience working with Case managers or Care managers on complex case management, including familiarity with social determinants of health.

**Additional Information**
Typically reports to a Regional Vice President of Health Services, Lead, or Corporate Medical Director, depending on size of region or line of business. The Medical Director conducts Utilization Management of the care received by members in an assigned market, member population, or condition type. May also engage in grievance and appeals reviews. May participate on project teams or organizational committees.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$223,800 - $313,100 per year
