QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent,
- Current South Carolina Nurse's Aide certification
- CPR certification.
- Two or more years of experience in hospice, hospital, skilled and assisted living facility, or home health providing direct patient care.
- CHPNA preferred.
- Ability to successfully interact with a diverse patient population, families, physicians, Caring Seasons staff, and the community at large along with excellent customer service and documentation skills required.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office includes Outlook and database knowledge.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Position requires minimal visual concentration for patient charting/documentation.
- Position carries a risk of exposure to infectious diseases requiring standard safety precautions.
- The Certified Nursing Assistant requires extensive physical mobility and strength.
- This includes the ability to ambulate or lift a patient with or without the assistance of devices of more than 75 lbs. utilizing proper lifting techniques.
