In this fully remote role, you will support MCMC's operations by accurately entering and processing medical review data received from clients. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals looking to gain experience in healthcare administration and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input data from Independent Medical Reviews into internal systems.
  • Extract information from forms and enter it into Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain missing or incomplete information.
  • Ensure all data handling complies with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Convert documents to PDF and format content using tables and templates as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Responsibilities

Ensure the overall coordination of home health services provided to the patient is delivered according to acceptable standards of practice and company procedures. Review and approve patient information submitted by the licensed professional during a start of care, recertification, resumption of care, or evaluation visit. Facilitate the relationship between physicians, referral sources, patients, caregivers, and employees.

Qualifications

* Must be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
* Must be licensed in the state in which they currently practice, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for nurse licensure compact for the state in which they practice.
* Must have at least two years of nursing experience.
* Must have one year experience in home health or hospice.

**Job Summary**

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated tasks in alignment with the PCT's training and the department's needs. + Supports patients with meals, feeding, bathing, oral care, grooming, linen changes, skin care, elimination assistance, and urinary catheter care.

+ Assists with patient positioning, repositioning, dangling, ambulating, and using mobility aids such as walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs.

+ Collects urine and stool samples and performs blood glucose monitoring via finger sticks, documenting and reporting results to the RN/LPN/LVN.

+ Communicates patient information effectively to the care team, adapts to change, and maintains professionalism in all interactions.

+ Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, including appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

+ Participates in performance improvement initiatives, risk management reporting, and compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures.

+ May be required to maintain continuous visual observation of the patient and remains with them at all times unless relieved by appropriate personnel.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Complies with all policies and standards.

**Qualifications**

+ 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

+ Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
