The primary responsibility of the Health Screener is to provide coverage in the field ensuring that health screenings are completed accurately and on time. Responsibilities: - Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screening services based on service package - Performs basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and completes required quality control. - Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings. - Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records. - Participates in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary. - Complies with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents. - Understands and complies with applicable federal, state and local laws. Adheres to quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices. - Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events. - Performs other related duties as necessary.

Job Description
The Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital is recruiting for a Full-Time, Permanent Physician position as Chief of Inpatient Medicine. This role reports directly to the ED-Inpatient Service Chief.
QualificationsTo qualify, applicants must meet the basic and any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Pending completion of training or licensing requirements, applicants may be considered tentatively but cannot be hired until all requirements are fulfilled. Current VA-employed physicians who met previous qualification standards are deemed qualified.
- Basic Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens only when qualified citizens are unavailable)
- Doctor of medicine or equivalent degree from an approved school
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
- Completed residency training approved by the VA, leading to eligibility for board certification
- Residents enrolled in approved residency programs are eligible for appointment as 'Physician Resident Providers' (PRPs), who must be fully licensed, may only be appointed intermittently or on a fee basis, and are not considered independent practitioners
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Preferred Experience: Management of telemetry patients, supervision of physicians, utilization management, faculty appointment eligibility

- Lead as Chief of Hospital Medicine, providing leadership to clinical and administrative staff
- Provide direct inpatient care, documenting thoroughly and using appropriate programs
- Educate and supervise physicians, healthcare professionals, medical students, and residents
- Participate in quality assurance, medical staff meetings, and committees
- Complete all medical records according to bylaws and regulations
- Maintain affiliations with Loma Linda University and the University of California
- Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in teaching and academic activities
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm
Located in Loma Linda, a scenic community near mountains, beaches, and deserts, approximately 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
