* IV Therapy
* Medication administration
* Venopuncture for blood collection
* Physical Assessment and collecting of information
* Rounding with physicians
* Fingerstick blood sugars
* Directing staff in patient care
* Develop and update patient problem list
* Initiates and coordinates resources in planning patient care
* Insertion of foley catheters and Nasogastric tube
* Transcribing physician orders
* Dressing wounds and skin care
* Care of patients with central lines including central line dressing change

- Follow established pediatric scanning protocols and document required information.
- Document shielding on all patients 13-years-old and younger.
- Active knowledge of all CT and radiographic procedures, performing proficiently as ordered by physician.
- Properly position and instruct patients for exam.
- Perform mobile and surgical radiography safely and accurately.
- Protect self and others from undue radiation exposure.
- Assist physician as needed with fluoroscopy and XR/CT sterile procedures.
- Adjust CT parameters and imaging techniques as needed to achieve the most diagnostic study.
- Perform venipuncture and IV maintenance and prepare and administer contrast according to established guidelines.
- Ensure correct images and documentation are in place in PACS system and available for interpretation.
- Transport patients as needed and communicate appropriate hand-off communication with nursing staff.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education: ARRT registered graduate of approved school. One year experience in radiology or related field necessary to gain familiarity with processes and procedures in radiology.
Experience: Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with patients, patients' families, visitors, salesmen, and general public; must possess knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiology equipment.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Communication skills, computer skills, task-orientated, and organization are required. Familiarity with the operation of all x-ray equipment and computers is preferred. Interpersonal skills are necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress to gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians.

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Behavioral Health Activity Therapist with YesCare:

Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate therapeutic/recreational activity segments of individual program plans to further the comprehensive treatment of patients.

Develop specifically planned goals and objectives to be met with the implementation of therapeutic recreation.
