Job Duties:
- Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient. Responsible and accountable for performing a wide range of clerical duties and direct patient care activities, depending on the need of the unit. The performance of these tasks in an efficient and timely manner is essential to enhance the care team's ability to provide quality care. About the On-Call Mental Health Delegate Role
As an On-Call Mental Health Delegate within our County Programs team, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals in crisis by coordinating emergency mental health services. Starting Rate: $20/hour, based on experience and qualifications
On-Call Mental Health Delegate Core Responsibilities
- Provide emergency mental health delegate services across Centre County
- Coordinate inpatient care and hospitalization when needed
- Communicate with local crisis providers, emergency services, and hospitals
- Ensure individuals are advised of their rights during the process
- Maintain clear and timely documentation
- Advocate for access to appropriate care and support
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in the human services field
- Ability to remain responsive, ethical, and organized in high-pressure situations
