Job Summary

Manages nursing home staff and nursing activities, including resident care and record-keeping. Manages nursing staff assigned to a particular shift within the nursing home. Takes action regarding provision of resources within the context of shifts or designated time frame. Assigns residents to available nursing staff, taking into consideration the resident's condition and the employee's skill level. Measures employee performance. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Home Health provides direct nursing care to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN is responsible for delivering compassionate, safe, and effective care that is aligned with the patient’s individualized plan of care, while recognizing the unique needs of patients across the lifespan.
