This position requires candidates to be on-site in Ventura California at least 3 days per week. Travel expenses are not available for this engagement. Large Hospital and / or clinical experience is required. Position Summary : The Director of IT Infrastructure is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, maintenance, and support of all IT infrastructure components. This includes our medical-grade network, servers, storage, telecommunications, and end-user devices. The Director will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements, particularly HIPAA and healthcare industry standards. Responsibilities : Strategic Planning & Leadership : Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals. Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT infrastructure team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Medical-Grade Network Management : Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust and secure medical-grade network, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations. Manage network performance, security, and availability, implementing appropriate monitoring and alerting systems. Infrastructure Management : Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, telecommunications, and end-user devices. Ensure systems are properly maintained, patched, and updated. Security & Compliance : Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Oversee vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Budget Management : Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation. Vendor Management : Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met. Project Management : Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity : Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan for IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime in the event of a disaster. Team Management : Supervise, mentor, and develop the IT infrastructure team, conducting performance reviews and providing opportunities for professional growth. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a significant portion of that experience in a healthcare environment. Proven experience managing a medical-grade network, with a deep understanding of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include preparing applications, specifications, and marketing strategies for new business and renewals, often independently for difficult lines. Champion Patient Care: You will be an advocate for our patients by leading a team of dedicated patient navigators who are the frontline for our patients' care experience in imaging centers in Ventura, CA
Operational Excellence: You will refine site operations to ensure smooth healthcare patient flow and provide exceptional customer service while interfacing with our partner Site Manager.
Invest in People: You will help develop and train your team of patient navigators on best practices to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to excel. You'll also play a key role in launching and ensuring the success of new imaging center partnerships in Ventura, CA
Day to Day: You will monitor attendance and employees' performance and initiate disciplinary procedures when appropriate. You will complete all orientation, expectations and annual evaluations for your team. You will be responsible for signoff on employee time sheets, and coordination of time off with your team.
