ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide structured individual and group clinical supervision hours as required for LCSW licensure.

* Take and document the patient's temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, weight, and height.

* Perform EKGs and urinary catheterization in the ED only.

* Assist and accompany patients during admission, transfer and discharge.
* Perform hourly safety rounds, anticipate patient needs and respond to patient call lights promptly.
* Collect, properly label and transport specimens to proper area in timely manner.

* High School Diploma or GED
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon hire or within new hire period
* Prior job or educational experience providing basic computer knowledge and skills
* Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
* One year of recent acute care experience

* Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination; involves extensive standing and walking.
* Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
* Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
