Position Summary
Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care and provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinic services. Responsible for performing a variety of clinical duties including but not limited to: monitoring patient flow, obtaining and documenting patient vitals, document current medications, chief complaint, performing technical laboratory functions including phlebotomy/EKG/stress testing, monitor/track/charge medical equipment, scheduling procedures and tests. Responsible for performing a variety of office duties including but not limited to: greeting patients, vendors, and other visitors and notifying appropriate staff of their arrival, operating switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls, obtaining current and accurate insurance information each visit, verifying coverage through insurance company, obtaining pre-certifications or prior authorizations as needed, maintaining daily accurate records for timely billing of accounts, notifying patients of account status and payments due using collection techniques to assist in keeping accounts receivable current. Assigned to a specific practice/urgent care but will need to assist in covering other practice sites.
What you will need:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing with current licensure in the state of Ohio.
- OR must be a High school graduate. Medical Assistant certification required.
- Experience in a medical office or urgent care setting preferred.
- Must have the ability to perform as a Medical Scribe from time-to-time.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers with strong typing skills. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is desired.
- Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, co-workers and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with medical and administrative staff, patients, co-workers and insurance companies.
- Able to prepare and present reports to FPG management as requested.
- Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations.
- Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, and decision making. Skill in analysis and interpretation of data, and preparation of reports. Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques, appropriate use of universal precautions, appropriate charting of patient data.
- Skill in point of care testing, vital signs, EKG, and other clinical aspects of the office.
- Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and insurable under Firelands auto policy. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request.

SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Licensed Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, where you will play a critical role in providing immediate support to families in crisis. As the Licensed Shift Supervisor, you will lead crisis response efforts by assigning calls from our 24/7 hotline to clinicians, ensuring they respond face-to-face or through video conferencing within an hour. Your leadership will help assess and stabilize high-risk situations for youth and their families, making a real difference in their lives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide clinical supervision to enhance team performance and client outcomes.
- Oversee scheduling, programming, and administrative needs for efficient shift operations.
- Manage agency-required documentation and reporting systems for compliance and accountability.
- Be prepared to step into a clinical role as needed to maintain service continuity during staffing shortages.
- Timely completion of clinical records and documentation according to regulatory standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy in all aspects of treatment.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to foster professional development.
- Keep all required trainings and certifications current in accordance with agency regulations.
- Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct aligned with agency policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Licensure: LSW, LPC, or LMFT required; LISW, LPCC, or IMFT preferred.
