View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions.
The Behavioral Health Clinician provides comprehensive MH & SA/SUD services to adult and/or adolescent clients seeking treatment services at the outpatient center. The Clinician provides initial program orientation to clients presenting for treatment of Substance Use Disorders and related personal problems. The clinician assesses clients’ treatment needs and assists in developing appropriate individual treatment goals.
Provides group, family, and individual therapy, skills-based training and education to clients and their families/significant others. Designs therapy and education services that meet the individual needs of the client. Educates families/significant others on the addiction and recovery process.

Disaster Health Services (DHS) Service Associate (SA) is a temporary position assigned to work in person before, during and/or after a disaster event this hurricane/wildfire season. Volunteers in this role provide assistance and healthcare to shelter residents as needed.
- A current, unencumbered license in at least one of the following professions:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)*
- Paramedic*
- Medical Doctor (MD)
- Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Physician Assistant (PA)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Provide hands on care for shelter clients to include but not limited to assistance with activities of daily living, wound care, incontinence care, assistance with functional needs.
- Provide health education, health assessments and determination if a higher level of care is needed.
- Assist clients to replace medications, durable medical equipment or consumable medical supplies.
- Advocate for client needs with Disaster Health Services supervisor.
- Support maternal and child needs as necessary.
- Complete required virtual self-paced and instructor-led training required for the position (9 hours total).
- Willing and able to volunteer in person in a disaster shelter before, during and/or after a disaster event
- Available to sign up for shifts on consecutive days (shifts may be 8 or 12 hours long)
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English

We're looking for a **Patient Care Manager** to join our team.You will report directly to the Executive Director, Administrator, or Senior Patient Care Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining a high performing hospice program including managing, overseeing, and directing patient care activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. This role is responsible for teaching, evaluating, and developing associates and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and regulatory agencies.
+ Overseeing and managing rescheduled, declined, missed, and reassigned visit requests, including making decisions as to priority and staffing based on clinical judgment.
+ Responding to phone referrals/inquiries in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner, including triage of medical concerns within scope of practice.
+ Preparing for, serving on, and facilitating the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG), as assigned, including presiding over IDG, presentation of patients for review, coordination of minutes, review of patient charts to note and address any changes to patient condition and/or the plan of care, and soliciting input from various care team members
**About You**
+ At least three years' experience of direct patient care and two years' experience in hospice or home-based care setting
+ Graduate of accredited school of nursing; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
+ Current Registered Nurse licensure in state of residence and requested employment
+ Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with accepted hospice principles and practice, including industry standards, regulations, and best practices (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, JCAHO, ACHC), company policies/procedures, and understanding ofterminally ill patients and their families
+ Ability to apply knowledge of the unique needs of hospice patient and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds to provide appropriate advocacy and oversight

Position Summary
The School Based Healthcare (SBHC) Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients and students at Calhoun County School and is responsible for front desk operations including answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, registering patients, and handling payments. This position plays a key role in ensuring excellent customer service, accurate documentation, and smooth front-office workflow.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and register new and existing patients
- Answer incoming phone calls and route appropriately
- Schedule, cancel, reschedule, and notate patient appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and scan insurance cards
- Review and scan sliding fee (S/F) applications and income documentation
- Confirm and update patient demographics at each visit
- Collect and reconcile co-pays, payments, and petty cash daily
- Run reports including EBO and e-payment reports
- Translate documents and provide translation for patients (if bilingual)
- Maintain accurate documentation of emergency room or hospital visits
- Retrieve and scan necessary documentation (faxes, hospital records, etc.)
- Create and assign telephone encounters in the EMR system
- Provide general office support including faxing, scanning, and filing
- Collaborate with other Intake Specialists and departments to ensure continuity of care
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with medical intake procedures
- Proficiency with basic computer programs (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual skills preferred (English/Spanish)
