Responsibilities
The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. Qualifications
Student or Graduate of a nursing program.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program as stipulated by the degree requirement program in place at time of hire.
Additional Qualifications:
One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working in a team environment. Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting. Responsibilities:
- Communicate with client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner
- Establish and maintain effective client relationships through regular communications, including on-site visits
- Adhere to prescribed budgets and deadlines
- Develop technical competency and assist clients
- Participate in continuing professional education programs
- Serve as a trusted business advisor for clients and associates

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA certification preferred. Candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will be considered.
- 3-4 years of related experience
- Prior experience in healthcare tax preferred
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work many projects simultaneously under pressure and time deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. About You
As a Hospice Care Consultant:
Our Hospice Care Consultants are a part of our extraordinary team who offers a consultative approach to educate and grow our partnerships with referral sources by:
+ Being in the community every day
+ Making phone calls and conducting presentations to current and potential referral sources
+ Working side-by-side with the clinical and operational team to promote the highest level of clinical excellence with our hospice services
Hospice Care Consultant Requirements:
+ Hospice heart: compassionate, kind and empathetic to your clients and their patients and their families.
+ Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales experience preferred in one of the following settings: hospice sales, home health sales, medical device sales, clinical liaison, RN liaison, clinical coordination or medical sales
+ A proven track record of being a top performer
+ Known and respected within your community
+ Bachelor's Degree focused in Marketing or Business, preferred
