  • Lead the integration of cybersecurity solutions with key elements of the HTM program such as CMMS, Capital Planning, RTLS, and remote diagnostic monitoring.
  • Advocate for integration of Cybersecurity data & insights to inform client operations and business objectives and lead the customer facing requirements regarding the sale of the product(s), implementation, operational support, and continuous improvement.
  • Actively support the commercial team in client presentations as the subject matter expert and owner of the cybersecurity portfolio offerings as well as develop and monitor cybersecurity contracts and policies to best support and enable clients.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of cybersecurity principles including hospital IoT (Internet of Things) and medical devices.

  • Promote and maintain positive working relationships between medical staff and employees. 

  • Help the hospital achieve goals related to patient, employee, and physician satisfaction in connection with the delivery of services. 

  • Work with the quality manager to improve clinical outcomes, the quality of patient care and the efficient use of physician and hospital resources.

  • Provide appropriate medical assessment, treatment and timely discharge of patients admitted for observation. 

  • Communicate any material concerns about quality of care, delay in delivery of medical services, or any patient concerns. Adhere to the requirements and standards of The Joint Commission, accrediting agencies, and all applicable AHS policies, code of conduct, rules, and regulations. 

  • Work with hospital operations and nursing to implement new procedures, controls, and systems to promote quality, cost control, reimbursement functions, and standardization of products and equipment.

  • Provide effective and timely communications to referring or admitting physicians, patients and family about the clinical status of each patient admitted through the ED. 

  • Maintain good public relations on behalf of AHS and help achieve goals related to patient/employee/physician satisfaction in connection with delivering clinical services.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director and the Department Chair. 

Qualifications

    Required Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) 

  • Minimum Experience: Completion of approved post-graduate residency training in Emergency Medicine from an accredited hospital or medical center. 

  • Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Board eligibility in Emergency Medicine 

  • Board Certification (expected on the appropriate schedule) 

  • Compliance with the Board mandated education and training to maintain State licensure and board certification. 

  • Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of California. 

Pay Range: $169.66-$179.86 / Hour 

The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization. Are you a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) passionate about improving outcomes in osteoporosis care and fragility fracture prevention? Join the growing Advanced Practice Provider-run Bone Health Clinic in Redwood City, CA, where you'll play a critical role in long-term disease management, patient education, and program development.

This position focuses on managing patients with osteoporosis and low-trauma fractures (e.g., hip, spine, wrist). You'll lead care delivery through clinical assessments, medication management (including injectables and infusions), and care coordination. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including other APPs, Mas, RNs, and nurse coordinators. This is a non-surgical APP role ideal for providers interested in chronic disease management, preventative care, and expanding bone health services. This is a unique role as we are searching for a provider who would like to be apart of the expansion of the clinic, provider outreach and provider and patient education.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday; 8a-5pm
  • No Weekends or Nights
  • 36 days of PTO

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with osteoporosis and fragility fractures
  • Prescribe and monitor injectable osteoporosis treatments and infusions5/14/

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Orthopedics, Endocrinology or similar specialty
  • Certified NP or PA with active California license (or eligible)
  • Experience in endocrinology, geriatrics, primary care, or orthopedics preferred

Applicants will be required to obtain a Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) Certificate from the Bone Health and Osteoporosis foundation within 6 months of hire.
