About the role

Reckitt is looking for a dynamic Area Safety Leader ready to step into a key role at our manufacturing facility. You'll be the go-to expert driving innovative EHS solutions, influencing operations across multiple shifts, and championing global standards like ISO 14001 and 45001.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and implementation of safety risk assessment to help in identifying & mitigating hazards for critical activities.
- Drive Safety Culture and Reckitt Safety Observation Program and analyse to create area action plans.
- Review and update as needed existing plant Health & Safety programs within Manufacturing to ensure compliance.
- Monitor the Plant's compliance on regulatory requirements, report gaps and develop corrective actions.
- Perform routine site EH&S inspections, follow-up and verify corrective actions.
- Delivery of safety status reporting and Key Performance Indicators measured across multiple shifts (eg Accident reporting and investigation, safety work orders, and Near Misses).
- Design and deliver employee training as needed on applicable regulations and EH&S topics.
- Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Management systems.
- Maintain all required documents to support compliance
The experience we're looking for
- BS Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- 2-5 years EH&S or related experience in Manufacturing operations required.
- Strong experience in creating and implementing OSHA programs such as LOTO, machine guarding, PSM (process safety management), etc.
- Knowledge of Environmental Regulatory reporting requirements a plus
- Experience in managing regulatory inspections, inquiries, response & closure
- Knowledge of ISO management system a plus
- Experience in the chemical or chemical-related industry is preferred
- Ability to communicate basic Spanish is a plus

In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
