The UKG (Legacy Kronos) Advanced Scheduler Consultant for Healthcare works closely with teammates to ensure the maximum value of our clients' workforce management investment is achieved. Job Responsibilities

+ Provides advanced-level knowledge of the UKG Dimensions or Workforce Central (Legacy Kronos Workforce Dimensions or Kronos Workforce Central) Advanced Scheduler module, specifically as it relates to clients in the healthcare industry

+ Leads all aspects of workforce management configurations, implementations, modifications and upgrades of time and attendance initiatives including gathering and defining requirements, gap analysis, design, development and support

+ Participates in and contributes to pre-sales and sales strategies

+ Facilitates complex working sessions for both internal and client teams, including defining strategic objectives and tailors these to meet client-specific needs as necessary

+ Creates detailed functional and technical design documents, including test plans, test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation

+ Analyzes complex data or facts and summarizes and presents findings in a compelling way

+ Provides thought leadership to develop new or improved processes, methodologies, systems, tools and/or services to enhance clients' operating environment based on practical experience, optimal outcomes and best practices

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Summary**

Molina's Quality Improvement function oversees, plans, and implements new and existing healthcare quality improvement initiatives and education programs; ensures maintenance of programs for members in accordance with prescribed quality standards; conducts data collection, reporting and monitoring for key performance measurement activities; and provides direction and implementation of NCQA accreditation surveys and federal/state QI compliance activities.

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**

The Program Director is a key Quality Improvement (QI) leader within the organization, empowered to advise senior management and other departments on Quality strategies and initiatives. This is an individual contributor role that leads programs/projects in one or more of the following critical QI functional areas: HEDIS Performance Measurement, which conducts data collection, reporting and monitoring for key performance measurement activities; Quality Reporting, which develops reports to meet QI requirements and oversees the use of automated software tools and processes; Clinical Quality Interventions, which develops, implements and monitors the success of QI activities; and QI Compliance, which provides the strategic direction and implementation of corporate and/or Molina plan NCQA accreditation surveys and federal and state QI Compliance activities.

+ Serves as a QI subject matter expert and leads programs to meet critical Quality needs.

+ Manages QI programs with oversight from the Director, AVP and VP as needed.

+ Collaborates and facilitates activities with other units at Corporate and within Molina State Plans.

+ Provides direction for QI program activities with department leadership including leading Corporate quality initiatives that require timely follow-up, tracking and communication on an on-going basis.

+ Communicates with and escalates gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to department leadership, including proposed resolution.

+ Monitors and tracks key quality indicators, programs, and initiatives to reflect the value and effectiveness of the quality program.

+ Develops and ensures that automated reporting and interventions tools are implemented effectively (through development, training and roll out).

+ Collaborates with Molina State Plans to identify areas and strategies for improved reporting and use of reporting tools.

+ Leads key Clinical Intervention activities including implementation of national and state-based Quality interventions, meeting state and federal intervention rules and aligned with best practices identified in literature and within Molina plans.

+ Works with Molina Plans and QI leadership to ensure that interventions are communicated, monitored, and reported on a timely basis to demonstrate program effectiveness.

+ Facilitates and builds high quality clinical care/services through relationships with key departments within Molina and at Molina plans.

+ Leads HEDIS Performance Measurement programs using knowledge, skills and technical expertise in performance measurement, data collection and reporting.

+ Maintains confidentiality and complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required Education**

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

**Required Experience**

+ Minimum of 7+ years relevant experience, including at least 5 years in health plan quality improvement.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with HEDIS programs.

+ 2 years Medicaid experience

+ 2 years Medicare experience

+ 3 years management experience

+ Operational knowledge and experience with Excel and Visio (flow chart equivalent).

+ Proficiency with data manipulation and interpretation.

+ NCQA Accreditation experience.

**Preferred Education**

Master's Degree or higher in a clinical field, IT, Public Health or Healthcare Administration.

**Preferred Experience**

+ HEDIS reporting or collection experience

+ CAHPS improvement experience

+ State QI experience

+ 3 years' experience in Reporting & Analytics

+ 3 years' experience in Health Care Industry

+ Quality program leadership and direction

**Preferred License, Certification, Association**

Job Summary:

Responsible for the management activities of hospital-based Sterile Processing Department(s)-either FMLH or both CHD campuses (FMFH and FWBH), in providing reprocessing of reusable surgical instrumentation and other medical devices for Surgical Services and other hospital-based departments and ambulatory clinic customers. Management activities include planning, organizing, coordinating, staffing, directing, controlling, and evaluating department operations. Assumes 24-hour operational and technical accountability for activities in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standard work for the Sterile Processing Department(s), including decontamination; preparation, packaging, and disinfection or sterilization; and appropriate transport or sterile storage. Maintains relevant subject matter expertise in medical device reprocessing, and serves as a resource for staff and customers. Sets organizational standards for technical processes; reprocessing workflows; staff training and competency validation; and documentation and record keeping of reprocessing activities. Ensures that applicable regulatory and technical standards of practice regarding medical device reprocessing are interpreted, implemented, and monitored for compliance within the department. Responsible for personnel management and cost effective utilization of resources.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a peri-operative or peri-procedural environment is required, including 1 year minimum in a formal leadership role. In lieu of this, completion of an Administrative Fellowship in Healthcare Administration-with a rotation in Sterile Processing-will be considered. Experience specific to medical device reprocessing is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration or Nursing is required, or must be completed within one year of hire/promotion. In lieu of this, 5 years minimum leadership experience in a technical or production-based environment will be considered. Master's degree is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Knowledge of Infection Control and Prevention; Knowledge of relevant The Joint Commission standards; Knowledge of asepsis, surgical techniques, instruments and patient care equipment. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with various hospital and medical staff and outside vendors when gathering and exchanging information and with subordinates in providing effective leadership. May compile objective and measurable data and produce reports. Required to keep current with industry periodicals and literature. Has Specialized knowledge and technical expertise with sterilization and operating equipment. Competent computer skills including the ability to use Excel to input, organize and analyze data

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
