What you will do:
Reporting to the assigned Practice Manager, with accountability to the Clinical Supervisor, serves as primary assistant to the medical provider by performing routine clinical tasks and direct patient care under the supervision of the Physician (MD) and Registered Nursing (RN). Based on physician orders, facilitates patient throughput, clinical testing, and follow up activities.
- Performs routine tasks to assist the provider in patient care related activities. Cleans and maintains exam and treatment rooms and stocks clinical supplies and equipment. Escorts patients to exam/treatment rooms. Practicing good customer relations, collects and documents patient data and history regarding nutrition, activity, mental state, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, height and weight. - Reviews and updates patient records prior to appointment with recent test results and correspondence and determines potential services anticipated per practice protocols. Confers with physician on any incomplete patients' tests, consults or orders prior to the patient visit. May assist with scheduling tests and treatments, pre-certifying patients for hospital care and/or procedures and processing referrals to other care providers.
- Performs selected clinical duties, reviews patient self-reported history and physical, vital signs, injections and immunizations, and assists in minor office procedures under the direction of the MD/APP/RN. Performs venipunctures and finger sticks; identifies correct patient before collecting specimen and labels specimens before leaving the patient. Performs Point of Care testing and supports lab draw site services according to CLIA and hospital policies. Logs and documents procedures performed according to hospital requirements. Completes EKG's, suture removal, and dressing changes.
- Performs various clerical functions; answers telephones, relays and responds to patient messages with physician direction. Updates and processes patient medical records with all patient communication. Schedules appointments and documents patient referrals when needed. Coordinates patient care through the appropriate triaging of patient phone calls and call backs as assigned by the provider when applicable
- Manages patient contact and follow up as directed and by electronic medical record (EMR) tasks. Follows up on all overdue orders, verbal and written, as identified in the electronic record task box. Provides accurate documentation on patient compliance with follow up and notifies physician of all refusals for orders. Documents all interventions, results, patient / family interactions, and medications dispensed in the record.

The healthcare market at Leopardo is growing and is looking for a project manager to grow with us. This is a great opportunity for a project manager with experience running municipal, non-profit or education construction projects to work on top-notch, impactful buildings in the Chicago area.
Summary: As a member of the project management team, the Project Manager I (PM I) is responsible for the overall administration, execution and completion of singular small-sized or multiple small-sized projects, and may assist a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager II on mid-sized, large and/or complex projects. This role will participate in the development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting and implementation ensuring consistency with Company strategy, commitments and goals. The PM I will monitor productivity and profitability, manage communication between team members, resolve conflicts, and cultivate client and A/E (Architect/Engineer) relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support preconstruction efforts on negotiated projects as required; assist in preparation of budgets and estimates, collaborate with estimating to solicit bids from qualified subcontractors/suppliers, qualify, review and evaluate bids to ensure required scopes are included, provide value design suggestions and work with the project team to implement revisions
- Prepare detailed general conditions budgets as required; and, assist Estimating with incorporating the general conditions work into the overall project budget
- Coordinate preparation of permit applications for review/approval, and submittal of updated permit documents as required
- Negotiate, award and write all subcontracts in collaboration with Principal-in-Charge/Market Leader. Verify current master agreements, and ensure that an executed subcontract/work authorization and proper certificate of insurance are in place prior to subcontractors starting work on site
- Complete bid/post-bid subcontractor risk mitigation management
- Develop, monitor and maintain a detailed master schedule; clearly identify key preconstruction activities that impact the project teams; and, clearly identify the critical path, and other activities such as owner move-in, inspections, and punchlist
- Collaborate with the Principal-in-Charge/Market Leader to prepare comprehensive cost estimates throughout the project's duration. Communicate with Leopardo self-perform groups to enlist their involvement and strengthen the project team
- Manage the shop drawing/submittal schedule and process to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract documentation; monitor and distribute as required for coordination purposes
- Manage the requests for information (RFIs) and change order processes, maintain the appropriate logs, and review with the project team regularly
- Coordinate and conduct required meetings (e.g., pre-job, weekly construction meetings, post-job, and project closeout). Prepare and distribute meeting minutes with the Project Assistants support
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to facilitate subcontractor/vendor coordination, ensure required inspections are performed and deficiencies are addressed, enforce quality control procedures and safety inspection performance, review the project punchlist, and obtain a certificate of occupancy
- Review closeout documentation for accuracy and submission. Coordinate warranty calls on completed projects
- Review job costs, billings, and pencil draws for pay applications with the Principal-in-Charge/Market Leader as required. Review and approve invoices for any goods purchased directly by Leopardo for general conditions work
- Collaborate with the Principal in Charge/Market Leader to establish, monitor, and achieve project goals; and, prepare profit projections
- Build, strengthen and maintain relationships with clients/owners, architects, developers, and subcontractors
- Participate in industry associations, actively promote Leopardo, and network to exchange information and gain insight about construction trends, the competition and industry/market trends
- Participate in presentations and interviews for new potential projects
- Assist with recruiting efforts as required
- Assist in training project engineers, interns and other staff members as required
- Participate in cross-functional teams outside of direct span of control within the main Company divisions (e.g., Total Quality Management)
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University in construction, engineering or architecture related fields; or, equivalent training and related experience
- 3+ years experience as a Project Engineer; field experience is a plus
- Knowledge of market/industry a plus; includes some estimating experience
- Proven record of success on singular small-sized projects
- Competency in basic construction technologies such as: scheduling software, financial comprehension, digital model navigation; ability to read and understand blueprints is a must
- Understand project management and accounting software; Viewpoint is a plus

This is a Casual position for Primary Care located at the Crystal Lake clinic. This position is as needed for coverage of vacation and sick leave. It will be an 8 hour shift between Monday through Friday.

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a multi-skilled worker who assumes a wide range of clinical and administrative roles within the physician office setting. Under the supervision of a Physician and/or the direction of a licensed nurse, the CMA provides direct and indirect patient care, performs laboratory and other testing, and may assist with clerical functions. The CMA serves as a key team player when interacting and communicating with patients and/or clinical staff in the ambulatory care environment.
Responsibilities:

- Rooms patients and provides direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, and/or direction of an RN/LPN. Records medical, surgical and family histories, medications and vital signs. Prepares patients for office procedures and assists nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments. Always considers specific patient needs; administers care according to individual age and abilities.
- Explains treatment procedures to patients; reinforces patient education regarding medication and special diets or testing that has been provided by the RN/LPN or physician (for example, the After Visit Summary).
- Administers injections and medications as directed by physician.
- Performs point of care testing, including venipuncture, urine dips, finger sticks, strep screens, flu screens, pregnancy tests, and cultures. Independently performs other tests and/or office procedures such as EKG's, pulmonary testing, and chronic disease management testing.
- Is knowledgeable about the purpose, process and results for tests and lab specimens frequently performed in an office setting.
- Relays NORMAL test results to patient or reads results, verbatim, from the physician documentation. Consults an RN, LPN, or physician should the patient have questions regarding their results.
- Adheres to CDPG Environment of Care policies. Maintains infection control standards for exam/procedure rooms and areas where patient care services are delivered. Cleans, disinfects, changes linen etc. Performs quality checks and trouble-shoots office instruments. Is knowledgeable of sterilization techniques and biological indicators for sterilization.
- Participates in shared governance, committee work, and practice/department projects.
- Demonstrates the knowledge of proper identification and reporting of medical/health care errors.
- Demonstrates a willingness to support co-workers; voluntarily pitches in. Willing to mentor and train new staff. Acts as an integral member of the team.
- Communicates appropriately and clearly with all. Maintains a good working relationship within the office and other ancillary departments. Demonstrates a positive attitude.
- Handles situations in a mature and professional manner.

- Utilizes online resources efficiently including Outlook, Corridors, and Team Sites.
- Completes other duties as assigned
Required:
- Two or more years of recent experience working as a Medical Assistant in a physician office setting or completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 or more years of experience as Medical Assistant or completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program
- American Heart Association accredited Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- Completion of phlebotomy class or equivalent experience. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to type proficiently and accurately. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to assess and determine situations requiring an interpreter and to use interpreter services effectively.
- New graduates/hires must obtain certification/registration within 1 year from hire date. The following certifications will be accepted:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) through the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
- An active RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois will be accepted in lieu of CMA certification
Preferred:
- Associates degree in Medical Assisting
- Second language proficiency a plus
