Position Summary
The Quality coordinator performs management duties including but not limited to: the oversight of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Quality program by developing and maintaning quality assurance protocols for the clinical team. Quality coordinator is responsible for managing clinical quality assurance and safety programs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- The Quality coordinator will work with the Leads to ensure that all modalities meet ACR and Joint Commission patient safety and image quality requirements. Works with physician leadership to ensure smooth processes and supports clinical care. Leads and participates in process improvement initiatives to ensure optimal quality of patient exams and effective department operations.
- Participates in and is an integral part of the service excellence program, expedeting patients, participating in action plan design and implementation and participates in service recovery as needed.
- Proficient in IT systems including PACS and Cerner. Demonstrates flexibility as needed to maintain the workflow. Demonstrates proficiency in resolving customer problems.
- Demonstrates proficiency in meeting timelines for customer satisfaction. Maintains Certification and stays abreast of the changes and prerequisites of the imaging field.

Position Summary
The Quality Manager oversees quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement within the overall Quality Management System (QMS) at Jupiter Medical Center Laboratory, including the development, review, implementation, and communication of all laboratory quality processes. The QA Manager provides guidance and consultation concerning quality processes for Clinical and Anatomic Pathology Laboratories. This position also ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory standards such as the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), the College of American Pathologists (CAP), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and the State of Florida Department of Health.
Essential Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with laboratory accreditation, regulatory standards, and information management policies by providing leadership and guidance to staff to ensure that quality policies, processes and procedures are established, current and adhered to by all laboratory personnel.
- Oversee internal audit processes, external assessments, proficiency testing programs; document control systems; competency assessment; training and other quality processes.
- Identify training needs, as well as design and implement training programs specific to the quality system.
- Recommend best practices to maintain and improve project outcomes or laboratory functions; facilitate laboratory improvement activities.
- Analyze data, identify trends, monitor prevention and correction of quality deviations, and develop reports for management utilizing knowledge and laboratory experience.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and performance metrics.
- Identify and report quality issues and problems to Laboratory Administrative Director for resolution.
- Prepares formal monthly meetings with lab leadership and Medical Director, to review quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with standards. These meetings include the review of metrics, corrective actions, and updates on any issues that have arisen.

Coral Shores Behavioral Hospital is an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Stuart, FL, and provides inpatient treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our professional staff individualizes care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each patient case and their family's needs. Because crisis occurs at all times of the day and night, our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Qualifications
* Job Requirements:
* Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
* Experience: At least one (1) year of previous experience in a healthcare setting and/or previous behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
* Current BLS certification required.
* Must complete and maintain training Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) (aggression management, crisis intervention and restraint training). Training may be obtained during new hire orientation.
* Must pass competency exams within 90 days of hire.
* May be required to work overtime and flexible hours. Required to work every other weekend.
* Must be able to prioritize workload, effectively multi-task and problem solve in a fast paced environment. Excellent listening, communication, prioritization and follow through skills with strong focus on providing high quality patient care.
Physical Requirements:
Move efficiently enough to meet the needs of several patients and/or move rapidly to provide timely intervention of patient aggression. Able to sit or walk during work shift. Able to hear spoken words in a normal vocal range, respond to signals, alarms, codes or other displays. Recognize vocal intonation that signal changes in acuity. Able to bend, reach and stoop. Must write legibly so as to accurately convey information. Able to read instructions and complete documentation and reports. Restrain, as part of a team, an aggressive patient in a safe and therapeutic manner. Able to lift, position or move patients in order to perform (or assist in) searches and procedures. Perform activities requiring manual dexterity. Able to lift 30 lbs.

This position works under the direction of the Director of Business Development. Cultivates referral relationships, manages assigned territory, and completes patient assessments. Makes sales contacts as well as analysis of referral and admission data from assigned territory. Works collaboratively with business development team members including the Admissions Manager and admission staff, as well as nursing and other internal and external staff to facilitate the referral conversion. Provides feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, the referral and admission process and patient and referral source satisfaction. Develops and maintains excellent relationships to all stakeholders including prospective patient, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers and payer representatives.
Qualifications- Education and Training: Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy is required. Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred.
- Experience: Must have a minimum of two years' experience in the designated field of license, preferably with rehabilitation/LTACH and marketing experience.
