Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

The primary purpose of this position is the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the new Healthcare Pre-Apprenticeship program as well as other allied health workforce development programs. This is a grant-funded position with the opportunity for extension beyond the grant period dependent upon funding. The program manager will develop and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including students, instructors, and community partners. Responsibilities will include student recruitment, case management, and representing the Center for Workforce Development at promotional/community events. In addition, the program manager will be responsible for coordinating the placement of students into apprenticeships, jobs, or other training programs upon program completion. Additionally, the program manager will assist with grant management and reporting, and meeting grant benchmarks and outcomes. This position and most programming will take place at Bucks' brand-new state-of-the-art Center for Advanced Technologies at the Epstein Campus in Bristol, PA with some of the allied health programs taking place on the Newtown Campus.
Primary Functions- Manage implementation of the Healthcare Pre-Apprenticeship and other allied health workforce training programs including development of recruitment and training schedules, hiring instructors, and ensuring programs have the materials/equipment required.
- Student recruitment/outreach and case management.
- Post-program student placement.
- Assist in grant management, including budgets, reporting, tracking outcomes.
- Coordinate events with healthcare and apprenticeship partners.
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years experience in healthcare, allied health, health sciences, or related field. Experience in workforce development or career training programs preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and understand budgets.
- Detail-oriented, excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new data systems/platforms.
- Individual must be comfortable with public speaking, understand the relationship of job training programs to economic development and have sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
- Ability to travel to various training and event locations, within and outside of Bucks County.
Position will need to respond to student issues on a regular basis and will be expected to think entrepreneurially in terms of meeting recruitment challenges. Most issues will be unforeseen with a need for immediate resolution. The position will be expected to investigate and resolve student and classroom related issues and escalate as necessary with the Director.
Salary Range$55,660 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience)

The Radiology Technologist performs x-ray scans of patient's internal anatomy to aid physicians in diagnosing illnesses, diseases, or injuries. Executes radiologic services in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and provides consultation advice to patients and radiology professionals. Delivers patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures
Job Description
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Appropriately positions radiographic equipment or x-ray film to produce images with necessary detail or contrast in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment.
- Explains radiographic procedure to the patient, obtains complete and accurate history relevant to the examination to being performed.
- Communicate effectively with the patient.
- Provides staff and patient protection in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards, including placement of shields/aprons in order to limit radiation exposure.
- Implements and monitors local, state and national regulations, standards, requirements and clinical protocols for radiologic imaging services.
- Maintains x-ray equipment by performing scheduled cleaning/tests and documents results.
- Maintains and updates patient and study information to ensure billing and RIS/PACS accuracy; handles patient records while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Performs other related technologist duties as directed by the lead technologist, supervisor or manager, including those related to quality assurance and/or control.
- Responsible for maintaining continuing education required for licenses and job positions
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R). ARRT (R), (CT) Preferred.
- Knowledge of RIS systems
- Knowledge of PAC's systems
