**Role Summary**
The Superintendent 1 will help plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects. This position will be responsible for managing material and equipment, assisting with people management, ensuring documentation is complete and meeting project goals to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. The Sterile Processing Technician Complex Care supports the trauma, transplant, neuro surgery and cardiovascular surgery service lines to decontaminate, disinfect, clean, sterilize, and/or appropriately package supplies, instruments, and equipment according to manufacturer's and regulatory guidelines as well as maintains proper documentation of such. Additionally, the Sterile Processing Technician will regularly perform testing in order to ensure proper functionality of equipment utilized in daily processing duties. IAHCSMM certification preferred but not required. The Sterile Processing Technician Complex Care supports the trauma, transplant, neuro surgery and cardiovascular surgery service lines.
+ Pre-cleaning of soiled instruments at the point of care
+ Donning/Doffing of PPE
+ Soaking of instruments in enzymatic detergent
+ Scrubbing of all instrument surfaces
+ Utilizing standard washers and ultrasonic washers according to manufacturer recommendations
+ Completing of final rinse using appropriate solutions
+ Inspecting instruments for proper maintenance
+ Packaging of items for sterilization and autoclaving
+ Ensuring required biological tests are completed and logged with appropriate follow up when failure occurs
+ Testing of autoclave/sterilizer and/or other equipment to ensure proper functionality
+ Operating autoclave/sterilizer equipment per guidelines including removing from service when appropriate
+ Maintaining storage areas for sterilized items while protecting package integrity per regulatory guidelines
+ Transporting of instruments in appropriate manner based on clean/dirty status

**This is a hybrid position; 1 day in office/4 days remote.** **M** **ust live within the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.**
Responsible for healthcare claims accounts receivable operations in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Meets or exceeds established cash collections and Day Sales Outstanding (DSO) goals. Works directly with program, branch, area, regional and divisional leadership, and external payers to effectively manage end-to-end claims processing activities. Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role including staff selection, development, corrective action, succession planning and team building. Prepares departmental budget and monitors expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgetary expectations.
+ Directs accounts receivable activities to maximize reimbursements. Ensures accurate, timely billing and collection. Develops credit/collection strategies and implements plans to ensure accounts receivable balances are within stated objectives
+ Ensures appropriate staff development, training and succession planning. Evaluates staff performance, and responsible for department hiring, terminations, promotions and salary actions
+ Serves as Company liaison to state, federal and third-party payers
+ Participates in company leadership meetings at the branch, area, regional and divisional level and ensures proactive and effective communications with field management
+ Provides company leadership with updates on accounts receivables. Assists in developing branch-specific plan of correction as needed
+ Continually assesses operational efficiencies and implements continuous improvement processes. Works with internal business partners on reimbursement issues and in maintaining SOX compliance
+ Establishes monthly FSU goals and evaluates performance on cash, DSO and budget metrics. Develops action plans accordingly
+ Maintains knowledge of current regulations, policies and procedures of state, federal and third-party reimbursement programs and assists staff in interpreting and applying technical and business requirements
+ Prepares departmental budget and monitors expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints. Ensures that sales adjustments and write-offs are properly approved and processed
+ Interacts with internal business partners to improve processes and procedures to achieve overall Company accounts receivable goals. Review payer contracts for proper billing to achieve accurate revenue recognition
+ Drives change throughout the organization and makes contributions to the company's goals and objectives by improving performance of self, team and business

+ Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare administration or the equivalent preferred

Responsibilities
The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
Minimum 1 year working with children.
Reliable transportation.
Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.
