As a Senior Consultant on our Health team, you will play a key role in helping health systems and health insurance companies tackle their financial and operational challenges. Your key responsibilities
You'll spend most of your time teaming with our provider team working with a broad spectrum of not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients, including hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices and academic medical centers, to assess and redesign clinical processes.

Required qualifications

A bachelor's or master's degree and approximately 3+ years of relevant work experience in healthcare, insurance, business analysis, consulting, or a related field.

Approximately 2 years of healthcare consulting experience, preferably with prior experience in a consulting firm

Assist in generating revenue within existing healthcare clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of large healthcare companies

Ability to manage a team of staff/senior consulting professionals

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $76,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 115,500 to 200,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

A Senior Commercial Underwriter in the Specialty Healthcare segmentation. You will review work done by others; act as a mentor and assist in the development of commercial credit analysts and underwriters. You will be responsible for underwriting, large, complex lending opportunities, balancing risk and growth ensuring loan structures are appropriate and consistent with bank lending standards, assign asset quality rating, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, internal support staff, and others to provide credit expertise to underwrite and monitor the portfolio.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is 106,100 - 214,600 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.
We offer a wide range of possible office locations including Evansville, Louisville, Cleveland, Nashville, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Madison and throughout the Chicago land area.
Key Accountabilities
Underwrite Loans
- Focus primarily on senior housing, hospitals and ancillary medical services
- Underwrite new credit requests, renewals, and modifications focusing on appropriate due diligence, risk assessment and asset quality ratings (AQR)
- Meet quality standards as outlined in ONB underwriting guidelines and policy
- Produce a high quality and accurate analysis while also not sacrificing efficiency in a fast-paced, high volume environment juggling multiple requests while adhering to client driven response timelines, etc.
Partner with respective Relationship Managers
- Provide credit expertise using a consultative approach; assist in structuring loans applying proficient knowledge, understanding, and application of ONB guidelines/standards/policies, risk assessment and analysis; effectively communicate risks, questions, and options to RM seeking win-win solutions.
- Develop and enhance knowledge of assigned segmentation and portfolio by leveraging internal and external resources and expertise
- Partner well with associates on revenue generating sales team, support teams and others in Credit to ensure a collaborative, team, and empowered environment
Monitor Portfolio
- Serve as a lead on industry analysis including industry reviews, AQR projects and others as assigned.
- Accurately assign asset quality ratings (AQR)
- Work with assigned RMs to monitor the credit portfolio to maintain strong asset quality; review quarterly trend analysis reports, address default situations, delinquencies, review maturing notes, receipt of financial information, review covenant default and Borrowing Base Certificate (BBC) reports and other reports as appropriate.
- Prepare cash flows and monitor key metrics to present quarterly to ONB's executive team and internal reviewers as part of the Healthcare Portfolio Review meetings

- Senior level of Healthcare Commercial Credit expertise required.
- 7 -10+ years of Commercial Credit experience required at a regional or global bank.
- Proven ability to quickly assess issues, apply credit policy, offer options and alternatives, come to an accurate and timely decision, and understand impact of decisions.
- Viewed as a resource and mentor by other Underwriters and RMs due to communication, leadership skills, and knowledge of systems (CML, loan standards, approval authorities) through extensive banking and credit experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently (with limited oversight), understand, analyze and interpret financial statements
- Understands and takes appropriate action related to risks associated with lending to healthcare borrowers

Job Description
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
- Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
- Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
- Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.
- Other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.

Job Description:
- Evaluate, examine, analyze, diagnose, and treat patients.
- Prescribe medication and perform in-depth psychotherapy and counseling, including behavior modification and psychoanalysis.
- Monitor and coordinate professional and paraprofessional medical, nursing, and direct care staff in areas related to psychiatric care.
- Review consumer records for accuracy and completeness and recommend improvements in hospital staffing and organization.
- Provide psychological services, conduct evaluations and assessments, score and interpret psychological tests, and conduct interviews.
- Write evaluation reports and treatment plans and assess quality of service rendered by others.
- Conduct individual and group counseling and psychotherapy for various issues such as substance abuse, trauma, and interpersonal problems.
- Follow up on treatment and write progress reports.
- Conduct psychological evaluations and court-ordered forensic evaluations.
- Participate in involuntary medication hearings and conduct suicide risk assessments.
- Work with clients to establish reasons for living and teach coping strategies.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to identify and prevent significant lethality risks.
- Coordinate services between institution mental health services and local community providers.
- Provide specialized therapies such as aggression control and victim empathy.
- Participate in treatment team functions and provide guidance and instruction to team members.
- Recommend policies and procedures for patient assessment, evaluation, and treatment.
- Evaluate mental status and competence to stand trial, and write forensic reports.
- Testify in court and respond to subpoenas.
- Prepare discharge summaries and behavioral recommendations.
