An Orderly assists with daily operations of the surgery center and carries out indirect patient case tasks efficiently. They support and take direction from nurses, instrument techs, and certified surgical techs as it relates to tasks performed in or for OR operations.

In OCR's surgery centers, communication is paramount; and we expect our staff to be clear and concise as well as kind, thoughtful, and respectful in their communication with colleagues and patients. Additionally, the person in this role should be organized and capable of reprioritizing tasks as the need arises.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in all room turnover tasks post procedure, including but not limited to: mopping floor, wiping down and disinfecting equipment, removing trash and linens, setting up for the next case, etc.
- Assists instrument technician with disinfecting, cleaning, wrapping/packaging, sterilizing, and storing all used instruments at the end of each day; exercises care in cleaning and maintaining all surgical instruments
- Assists with re-sterilizing outdated supplies; assists with thorough cleaning of OR storage cabinets and supply room
- Maintains adequate stock of supplies on a daily basis; restocks OR suites at the end of each day; and unloads and properly stores supplies from the receiving area.
- Assists OR staff in moving anesthetized patients from OR bed to gurney
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of universal safety precautions and procedures

- The work environment is a typical medical office environment. As a Behavioral Health Worker, you play a pivotal role in transforming lives by implementing personalized care plans. You'll collaborate with clients navigating mental health and substance use challenges, ensuring adherence to the policies and standards of North Range Behavioral Health. Beyond this, you'll be a cornerstone of support-offering emotional encouragement, resolving barriers to resources, and advocating for clients' needs to help them achieve meaningful progress in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist supervisory staff in assuring that clients comply with program rules, guidelines, and directives while they participate in all aspects of daily living and treatment within the facility and outside the facility when instructed.
- Assist in the client administration process including orientation, training, and other activities to maximize clients' positive adjustment to the setting.
- Observe client behavior to identify changes or indicators of special needs and report those observations to designated staff as they occur.
- Participate in the delivery of group activities and serve as an assistant to the clinical staff in treatment events as requested. May participate in one-to-one treatment sessions with clients as designated by the program.
- Assist with meal service and participate with clients during mealtime as indicated by client care plans; assist with client wellness checks and breaks per program requirements. They may be required to monitor clients on breaks where tobacco products are used.
- Conduct house/community meetings and engage in client discussions.
- Assist in monitoring client use of medications and management of those medications.
- Assist in special outings, tours, trips, and other special projects that are part of the program plans.
- Function as a crisis intervention specialist when required to implement response plans for a client demonstrating difficult behaviors, health emergencies, or natural disasters.
- Use appropriate de-escalation, seclusion, and/or restraint techniques when necessary following program guidelines.
- Demonstrate competency in the use of timeouts, token economy, therapeutic privacy, therapeutic physical restraint, and locked time out as behavioral interventions as appropriate for the facility and situation.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets agency insurability requirements is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills desired.
- No prior experience is required, though it's preferred.

Crisis Stabilization Services (CSS) delivers comprehensive care for individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. As a Behavioral Health Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in transforming lives by implementing personalized care plans. You'll collaborate with clients navigating mental health and substance use challenges, ensuring adherence to the policies and standards of North Range Behavioral Health. In addition to supporting clients directly, you'll supervise daily/nightly activities within the care environment, monitor client participation in group sessions or therapy, and ensure a safe, supportive atmosphere. You'll also guide and mentor clients in practicing coping strategies, maintaining accountability in their recovery journey, and adhering to treatment protocols. Beyond these tasks, you'll be a cornerstone of support-offering emotional encouragement, resolving barriers to resources, and advocating for clients' needs to help them achieve meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mission-Driven Leadership: Uphold North Range Behavioral Health's mission to provide compassionate care for mental health and addiction challenges.
- Team Supervision: Oversee up to six Behavioral Health Workers, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of priorities.
- Employee Development: Train and mentor new hires, ensuring they complete required certifications and maintain compliance with documentation standards.
- Program Management: Assist in program supervision, coordinate schedules, and provide input on complex client cases and interventions.
- Policy and Procedure Oversight: Help update policies and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Client Support: Facilitate admissions, orientations, and group or individual counseling. Monitor behavior, implement care plans, and assist in crisis intervention as needed.
- Medication Management: Oversee inventory, facilitate refills, and ensure proper medication administration.
- Crisis and Safety Response: Act as a crisis intervention specialist, using de-escalation techniques and maintaining safety protocols.
- Operational Duties: Manage petty cash, coordinate external communications, and represent the organization to external agencies.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, align services with payer requirements, and support billing processes.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bilingual Skills (English/Spanish) desired
- Medication Aide Certification is highly desired, although training can be completed post-hire.
- CPR certification/first aid training within the first 6 months of employment
- A Valid Driver's license and a driving record that meets agency insurability requirements is required.
- 2 years of experience in a medical or behavioral health setting is required.
