Registered Nurse Qualifications

- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be current)

MICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, GI bleed, DKA, multi-system organ failure, pneumonia, overdose, respiratory failure, and acute renal failure
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced interventions: ventilators, continuous IV sedation, wound vacs, cardiac drips, and more
- Float to affiliated hospitals or units as needed to provide clinical support
- Maintain strict infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions

The HFW CM helps the youth and family develop and integrate their natural support system and to manage their own services, supports, and plan.
