The staff of the 16-bed MICU provides 24-hour nursing care to critically ill adult/geriatric patients >18 years of age with a variety of medical conditions and strives to meet the unique cultural and developmental needs of the patients. MICU may serve as an overflow unit for SICU or PICU in the event either unit is full and unable to triage.
This position will work in the Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield, WI in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
This position may be eligible for a recruitment bonus paid on the first paycheck of employment.

Variable 12 Hour Shifts including every third weekend and holiday rotation

**General Description:**
This exciting internship will provide both challenge and satisfaction while allowing you continued career growth. You will be working closely with the leaders in the Environmental Services group at your account, developing skills and competencies to understand what is needed to be successful in the world of healthcare support services. As an intern with Crothall you will have the opportunity to perform/assist in a variety of duties to include the overall cleanliness of the hospital, managing, scheduling, and training of the frontline team members, vendor relations, and patient experience efforts, and more. Additionally, you will help ensure patient satisfaction and public relations through the safe and efficient use of our resources. **Job Qualifications:**
+ Currently enrolled college/university junior or senior
+ Ability to communicate effectively in written formal and oral presentations from hourly staff to Director level
+ Ability to maintain organization and establish priorities in an ever-changing environment
+ Must possess excellent customer service skills
+ Must have experience in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
+ An interest in pursuing a career with Crothall Healthcare and interest in joining our Accelerated Manager Program after college graduation is preferred

Analyzes information gathered by the investigation/audit and report findings, preparing written summaries and recommendations. Conducts investigative interviews of patients and providers as necessary.
Prepare evidence package for referral to third parties including contract holders, state insurance fraud bureaus and law enforcement agencies. Respond to subpoenas and requests for information from law enforcement agencies and State Departments of Insurance. May represent company as a witness in judicial proceedings when appropriate.
Performs special projects requiring expertise in fraud detection, data analytics, investigation, claim auditing and other areas related to Special Investigations. Completes reports of investigative findings and recommends investigative next steps. Identifies root causes of fraud, proposing internal and external corrective actions to address these root causes. Advises on investigative priorities, strategies, and techniques.
Apply laws, regulations, plan policies and guidelines, contract provisions, coding rules, coverage rules, and industry standards to information gathered during the investigation. Share expertise and promoting investigative best practices among management and staff. Educate and collaborate with various business units to raise awareness of potential concerns.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
