**Fairview is looking for an Emergency Department Technician (EDT) to join our ED team at our Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN**
The Emergency Room Technician (EDT) assists the professional nurse in delivering patient care, transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and managing supplies. Depending on unit needs and the discretion of the professional nurse, the EDT may be assigned patient care responsibilities.Located in Princeton, we serve many communities in the area, including Elk River, Zimmerman, and Milaca.
Our emergency medicine physicians, nurses, and medical staff are experienced treating adults and children with any type of injury or emergency medical need. If you should need transfer to another hospital, our health system offers interhospital critical care transport, which is the safest and most effective way to travel between hospitals.
Our Emergency Department is designated a Level IV trauma center.
Schedule: This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours day shift 9am-9:30pm. This position will also work an every third weekend rotation.
**Job Expectations:**
Provides patient care:
· Transports patients by wheelchair and cart
· Assists patients with ambulation and positioning
· Informs RN of patient/family observations and concerns
· Promptly responds to patient call lights/requests
· Demonstrates concern for patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
· Performs tasks with adaptations or modifications consistent with patients ages and developmental abilities
· Obtains ordered specimens from patient
· Transports specimens and blood products
· Demonstrates adherence to proper procedures
· Assists in resuscitation
· Functions as nurse extender: assists nurses with patient care activities
Documents patient care activities and procedures on the nursing records.
· Documentation is clear, concise, accurate and timely
Maintains room/unit and supplies
· Restocks room, supplies, and carts
· Assists with patient room clean-up between patients
· Completes room and cart checklist
Performs quality control checks on designated pieces of equipment
· Completes quality control checklist
· Reports discrepancies and malfunctions to charge nurse or manager
**Required Qualifications (Must have BLS certification and ONE of the following):**
+ Current EMT or ERT certification
+ Current Paramedic certification
+ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the MN Registry
+ Enrolled in an LPN, RN, or NP program (with at least 1 completed clinical semester)
+ Six months of recent hands-on patient care experience (acute, long-term, or home care)
+ Completed Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program
+ LPN licensure
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 1+ years of Emergency Department experience (EMT, ERT, paramedic, scribe, etc.)
+ Current experience as a CNA or NST

We are currently hiring for the Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) position, a key role within a multi-disciplinary team in the Integrated Behavioral Health model. We are looking for behavioral providers with strong diagnostic and clinical skills, team engagement, and patient care skills who enjoy innovation, variability in your workday, and being a part of an exceptional team.
A Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a fully integrated Mental Health Professional and core member of the primary care team that works under the direction of the primary care provider(s). The role of the BHC is to support the primary care team in the early identification and treatment of behavioral health conditions within the defined clinic population. The primary functions of the BHC are to:
+ Complete diagnostic evaluations
+ Provide consultation to the team regarding diagnostic impressions, recommendations, and strategies to engage patients in health and behavior change
+ Support the team with the day-to-day management of complex patients
+ Provide brief evidence-based direct care to patients
+ Engage in population health activities to support risk stratified populations
Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology with emphasis on clinical practice. MN state license, eligible to be licensed in the State of Minnesota and eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities. Experience in providing diagnostic assessments and direct evidence-based clinical services to children and adults. Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred.
**Required:**
+ Masters or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology
+ Licensed Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Doctoral Level Licensed Psychologist (LP)
+ 2 years post licensure
**Preferred:**
+ 5 years post LICSW/LMFT/LPCC/LP licensure
+ Previous experience completing diagnostic evaluations, and providing individual, couples, family counseling for children and adults
+ Healthcare experience
+ Knowledge of health conditions and common co-morbidities
+ Knowledge of the continuum of behavioral health care services (i.e. within surrounding communities)
+ Experience with Epic

**Qualifications:**
