• Partner with relationship manager(s) in underwriting, structuring, closing and managing cash flow, ABL and real estate loans in the healthcare space (SNF, pharma, medical devices, specialty hospitals)

• Minimum Bachelors degree

The Medical Director Oncology will provide utilization review determinations and support case and disease management teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform utilization review determinations for oncology populations, and support case and disease management teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes

• Serve as a subject matter expert in evidence - based oncology guidelines, especially those produced by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), and help ensure all clinically relevant policies and processes are informed by the best available evidence

• Enhance clinical expertise of the Oncology team through education sessions with nursing teams, and serving as a thought leader and point of contact for relevant medical societies and stakeholders

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $238,000 - $357,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. • Manages clinical staffing and personnel costs.
• Manages and monitors key clinical metrics including efficiencies, cost per encounter, coding and documentation, and others, while understanding the relationship between these and financial outcomes.
• Builds clinical teams focused on service delivery, driving key business metrics, clinician support and growing core business. Also, responsible for implementation of strategy and maintaining internal and external relationships across the markets.

• Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, or other Primary Care specialty (such as Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine) General Surgery is also acceptable.
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
