About the Role
  • As a BMET , you'll perform advanced-level service, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of medical equipment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide junior technicians, and coordinate vendor-supported technical projects-all in a setting where innovation and patient safety are the top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Duties:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate complex medical and clinical equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and installations of new systems
  • Evaluate demonstration units and submit detailed performance reports
  • Provide in-service education on medical equipment operation and safety
  • Analyze equipment failures and document root causes to prevent future issues
Administrative Duties
  • Manage accurate service documentation using Clinical Engineering systems
  • Coordinate technical projects and field assignments with other BMETs
  • Collaborate with vendors and support departments across the organization
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training and independent research
  • Assist with on-call emergency service as per rotation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Engineering + 2 years of relevant experience OR
  • Associate's in Biomedical/Electronics/Computer Tech + 4+ years' experience
  • Solid understanding of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and medical sciences
  • ICC Certification a plus
  • Must be able to lift and handle equipment safely
  • Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset

  • Day shifts , with occasional flexibility for equipment access and emergency support
