Hospice Aide Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
• In states where licensure is not required (AL, AZ, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must meet one of the following:
  • They are already a licensed/certified aide; or
  • They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months
• Current CPR certification required.

State Specific Requirements

Missouri

• Licensed/certified as a Nurses' Aide; or
• Have completed a nurses' aide training program AND employed as a nurses' aide for the past 24 months if not licensed/certified; or
• Enrolled in a professional or practical nursing program for at least four (4) months, that included a clinical rotation within the past five (5) years and has successfully passed a Fundamentals of Nursing course (must provide transcript and letter from the program director on school letterhead verifying BOTH clinical rotation and successfully completion of Fundamentals of Nursing course).

We are currently seeking an **Inpatient Care Management Medical Director** to join our Optum team in **Missouri.** This team is responsible for conducting acute level of care and length of stay reviews for medical necessity for our members being managed within the continuum of care. Our clients include local and national commercial employers, Medicare, and state Medicaid plans. The Medical Directors work with groups of nurses and support staff to manage inpatient care utilization at a hospital, market, regional or national level.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Participate in telephonic outreach for collaboration with treating providers. This will include discussion of evidence-based guidelines, opportunities to close clinical quality / service gaps, and care plan changes that can impact health care expenses
+ Responsible for collaborating with operational and business partners on clinical and quality initiatives at the site and customer level to address customer expectations
+ Grounded in the use and application of evidence-based medicine (EBM) such as InterQual care guidelines and criteria review
+ Occasionally, may participate in periodic market oversight meetings with the outward facing Chief Medical Officers, network contractors, nurse management and other internal managers
+ Maintain proficiency in all required software and platforms

**Required Qualifications:**
+ MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Missouri

+ 3+ years of clinical practice experience post residency
+ Technical proficiency in computer software and systems
+ Private home office and access to high-speed Internet
+ Ability to participate in rotational holiday and call coverage
+ Reside in the state of Missouri
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of managed care, Quality Management experience and/or administrative leadership experience
+ UM experience
+ Clinical experience within the past two years

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $238,000 - $357,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. **Job Summary**
We are seeking a **Clinical Dietitian** to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Evansville, IN!
**Relocation Assistance and $500 Sign On Bonus!**
*We reimburse professional dues for our RDs including CDR fees, Academy or ASPEN annual membership and state license fees!
*Touchpoint encourages our clinical dietitians to pursue advanced clinical certifications such as CDCES, CNSC, CSO, etc. We offer a 2,500 one-time salary increase for successfully obtaining an advanced certification.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
+ Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies&Procedures Manual
+ Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
+ Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
+ Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
**Qualifications** :
+ Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
+ Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
+ One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
+ Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record&diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
