Position Summary:   Provide medications and treatments to residents while upholding service standards, philosophy, and mission.

Position Responsibilities include, among others:
  • Administer medications and treatments in a timely manner and per physician orders.
  • Reorder medication as needed to ensure that medications are available when needed.
  • Give report to medication aide relieving you.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
  • Transcribe physicians order to the Medication Administration Records (MARs) when received as appropriate to our Medication Administration Procedures (MAP) and fax to community’s pharmacy.
  • Record vital signs on MARs.
  • Maintain the supplies stocked on the medicine carts.
  • Call and communicate with residents’ physicians to report the need for an appointment or medication.
  • Follow the medication administration plan (MAP) located in the Policy and Procedure.
  • Communicate with community pharmacy of supply needs.
  • Become the Designated "Person In-Charge" when Administrator is not on site. Refer to designation on the nursing schedule when more than one RMA working.
  • Participate in and attend all required in-services/training sessions, including Relias modules.
  • Communicate any staff or resident issues or concerns with the Administrator and/or RCC/RCD.
  • Able to perform  and be responsible for all tasks and job requirements listed on Direct Care Aide job description.
Your Contribution to the Team Effort includes:
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with State and Local Regulations.
  • Appropriately interact with residents, family members, and other guests.
  • Assist all departments with other duties as needed and/or assigned by Administrator/RCC/RCD.
  • Communicate the needs and preferences of each resident with each caregiver as they become more apparent over time.

  • To resident emergencies and act accordingly.
  • Communicate any resident concerns/issue to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
  • Practice safety in working around and with equipment, chemicals, tools, and utensils, etc.

  • Contribute to resident satisfaction by ensuring that customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain efficient and appropriate communication with residents, family members, guests and coworkers.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts through appropriate interaction with prospective residents and guests.

  • Maintain current Registration with the State.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

This 10-week TTP program focuses on the orientation transition experience with intentional knowledge support and skill acquisition for practice in Medical-Surgical areas. For new graduates, this TTP program is the start of a comprehensive 6-month residency program to support your transition to practice.

* Formal delivery of fundamental critical care nursing concepts and standards via foundational ECCO (Essentials of Critical Care Orientation from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN)) modules blended with in-person sessions utilizing case studies, gaming, simulation, and skills labs

City/StateHarrisonburg, VAWork ShiftMultiple shifts availableOverview:Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring Patient Access RepresentativesFull Time Day shift available.The Patient Access Rep is responsible for all aspects of the patient registration process, including: verifying the patient identity and selecting the correct patient record, reviewing schedules and physician orders to register the patient for the appropriate service, scanning important documents such as insurance cards, ID's, Living Wills, and POAs and verifying and entering the patient's demographic and insurance information in the electronic health record. Explain and complete complex regulatory and compliance documents and adhere to all applicable privacy and compliance standards. They will explain and collect co-payments, deposits and outstanding balances, and perform transactions securely. Greet patients and families, answer questions, and ensure the patients arrive to the appropriate service area at the right time. **Job Responsibilities**
+ Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
+ Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
+ Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
+ Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
+ Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
+ Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
+ Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
+ Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
+ Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
+ Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
+ Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
+ Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
+ Ensures security of company assets

**Qualifications**
+ Experience as a cook or in a related role required
+ Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
+ Must be able to acquire food safety certification
+ Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
+ Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
