SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Licensed Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, where you will play a critical role in providing immediate support to families in crisis. As the Licensed Shift Supervisor, you will lead crisis response efforts by assigning calls from our 24/7 hotline to clinicians, ensuring they respond face-to-face or through video conferencing within an hour. Your leadership will help assess and stabilize high-risk situations for youth and their families, making a real difference in their lives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide clinical supervision to enhance team performance and client outcomes.
  • Oversee scheduling, programming, and administrative needs for efficient shift operations.
  • Manage agency-required documentation and reporting systems for compliance and accountability.
  • Be prepared to step into a clinical role as needed to maintain service continuity during staffing shortages.
  • Timely completion of clinical records and documentation according to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy in all aspects of treatment.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to foster professional development.
  • Keep all required trainings and certifications current in accordance with agency regulations.
  • Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct aligned with agency policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Licensure: LSW, LPC, or LMFT required; LISW, LPCC, or IMFT preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational and time management qualities.
    • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.
    • Experience in supporting diverse populations with complex psychiatric needs.
    • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in executing job responsibilities.
    • Expertise in relevant mental health knowledge and its application in clinical practice.
    • Cultural competency in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    • Strong communication skills—verbal, nonverbal, and written—within a professional context.
    • Commitment to ethical values and principles in all facets of work.
    • Proficient problem-solving skills for timely and effective decision-making.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting working with youth and families. Familiarity with DSM-5 and family systems preferred.
  • Other: First Aid and CPR training required (training provided by the agency). Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record necessary for client transportation.

**LTSS Service Coordinator - Clinician (Case Manager)**
**Hiring statewide across Ohio**
**Location** : This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. The **MyCare Ohio** health plan is to deliver high‐quality, trauma informed, culturally competent, person‐centered coordination for all members that addresses physical health, behavioral health, long term services and supports, and psychosocial needs.
The **LTSS Service Coordinator-Clinician** is responsible for working under the direction/supervision of an RN, with overall responsibility for the member's case. As required by applicable state law and contract, the Clinician contributes to the LTSS care coordination process by performing activities within the scope of licensure including, for example, assisting the responsible RN with telephonic or face-to-face assessments for the identification, evaluation, coordination and management of member's needs, including physical health, behavioral health, social services and long term services and supports.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Assists responsible RN in identifying members for high risk complications. Obtains clinical data as directed by the responsible RN.
+ Assists the responsible RN in identifying members that would benefit from an alternative level of care or other waiver programs.
+ Provides all information collected to the responsible RN, who verifies and interprets the information, conducts additional assessments, as necessary, and develops, monitors, evaluates, and revises the member's care plan to meet the member's needs.
+ Participates in coordinating care for members with chronic illnesses, co-morbidities, and/or disabilities as directed by responsible RN, and in conjunction with the RN, member and the health care team, to ensure cost effective and efficient utilization of health benefits.
+ Decision making skills will be based upon the current needs of the member and require an understanding of disease processes and terminology and the application of clinical guidelines but do not require nursing judgment.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Requires an LPN/LVN, LSW, LCSW, or LMSW or license other than RN in accordance with applicable state law and Nursing Diploma or AS in Nursing or a related field and minimum of 2 years of experience in working with individuals with chronic illnesses, co-morbidities, and/or disabilities in a Service Coordinator or similar role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
+ Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN, LSW, LCSW, LMSW or license other than RN (as allowed by state law) in applicable state(s) required.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ Strong preference for case management experience with older adults or individuals with disabilities.
+ BA/BS in Health/Nursing preferred.
