Fairview is seeking an **American Sign Language** Interpreter in the **Minneapolis/St. Paul** Metro Area! This is a casual position that has a minimum of 30 hours available per month. This position is not benefit eligible.
This role will work closely with the System Accessibility Coordinator for Fairview Health Services and support interactions at the executive level. The perfect candidate for this position will have a great understanding of language that is needed when discussing Accessibility, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Affordable Care Act 1557, Customer Service (customer experience) ideals, and high register dialogue. Also, they must have proficiency in managing high - level meetings involving multiple participants.
American Sign Language Healthcare Interpreters provide communication access for all stakeholders involved in the healthcare encounter by providing meaningful, effective, and equitable communication via in-person or virtual platforms.
This person will interpret accurately and completely, conveying the content and spirit of the original message, taking into consideration the cultural context in a way that is responsive to the demands of the situation, or the person(s) involved in the encounter (in person and/or video).

**Job Summary**

**REQUIRED EDUCATION:**

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:**
