One position for just Easley, and another that will float to all locations. These practices include family medicine and pediatric services, with a special focus on assisting patients in managing chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. Primary duties are scheduling appointments, assisting providers, collecting and processing lab specimens, administering injections, giving immunizations, and taking vitals.
*Job Details:*
* Monday through Friday - no weekends, no call!
* 8:00am - 5:00pm
* *CMA/RMA* starting pay is $17/hour
* Eligible for permanent employment after 520 hours
*Job Description:*
* Assist with and document treatments ordered and supervised by the provider or registered nurse.
* List all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by provider. Transcribes patient orders including but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
* Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients’ charts.
* Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and perform select clinical duties.
* Performs basic clinical duties including answering the telephone, maintaining records, and filing.
* Performs basic inventory management of supplies and assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
*Job Requirements:*
* Current *CMA* or *RMA* certification
* Current CPR (Basic Life Support)
* Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
