Position Summary:

The PNS Outpatient Clinical Position (OCP) can be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). The OCP will be responsible for the care and treatment of patients in a medical practice setting as directed by a physician. The CSS will ensure that quality care is provided to all patients and is responsible for maintaining confidential records of vital statistics and other pertinent data. The OCP will notify patients of diagnostic test results, ensure that clients receive appropriate follow-up care, and educate patients to assure understanding of physician's orders effectively. The OCP will perform duties including but not limited to; rooming patients in a timely manner, recording nursing notes, vital signs, weight, etc., and coordinating care within the office team.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program or;

Licensure/Certification:

• Current South Carolina (or compact state) licensure as a LPN (SCLLR) in good standing required or;
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited agency required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience:

• Previous acute care experience preferred.
• A Minimum of 2 (Two) years prior experience working in physician office setting required. 5 years preferred.

As a Transfer Care Specialist, you are most often our families' first point of contact as you transport the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home. As funeral home representatives, you must maintain composure in challenging situations with compassion and kindness. You must be at least 21 years old, able to safely lift 100lbs, and have a valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record.

What You Will Do:

• Compassion & Empathy: Respectfully answer questions and direct Families to appropriate resources upon arrival and departure for transfer of the decedent
• Safe Transport: Navigate local roads and highways with varying traffic, time of day/night, and weather conditions; familiar with GPS or direction apps
• Reliability & Availability: Willing to work irregular hours as needed (on-call), including nights and weekends; filling in for funeral attendants and full-time staff shifts to drive hearse as needed

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is a psychiatric hospital that began offering substance abuse and mental health services in 2002. Primarily established to house adolescents, Lighthouse has transitioned to offering a full spectrum of acute inpatient services to adults and seniors as well. Since 2010, Lighthouse has expanded its mental health and substance abuse services. In 2013, Lighthouse opened a 28-day inpatient chemical dependency rehabilitation unit-the first of its kind in the Grand Strand area. In 2015, Lighthouse opened an acute adolescent unit to meet the needs of teens and their families in the Grand Strand. Job Description Summary

Possessing an SPD-Relevant Certification (CRCST or CBSPD) with a minimum of 2 years of SPD experience, the Sterile Processing Technician Lead manages the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation, including disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, inspection, testing, assembly, packaging, labeling, and sterilization. Cares for and operates ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and other equipment.

Completes quality monitoring and documentation. Performs quality assurance activities. Is responsible for supply inventory management and clinic instrument rounds. Is responsible for mentoring, training, coaching, and role modeling of new Sterile Processing Technicians. Serves as leader for the department to promote teamwork within the department and with other departments. Performs all duties with a commitment to excellence in quality and customer service. Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of high school or GED equivalency examination and must be certified and maintain a certification in sterile processing as a CRCST - HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) and have at least two (2) years' experience in sterile processing.

Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) certification preferred.

The individual must pass the internal department exam and requirement for the position. Possess ability to understand and implement a variety of detailed instructions in the execution of processes. Applicant must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Basic computer skills required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure health care environment required. Leadership, supervisory or management experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Detail oriented required.
