  • Goal driven and must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Proven experience billing and collecting for commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and patient payers.

Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift. Assists in and facilitates employee development.Essential FunctionsVerifies patients’ clinical history, ensuring that information is documented and readily available to the licensed practitioner.Completes proper patient identification and order verification. Prepares patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.Selects proper technical factors and operates equipment and accessories as directed.
