DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee execution of the feed program across sow farms and finishing sites, ensuring adherence to nutrition and production guidelines
- Conduct routine farm and feed mill visits to monitor feed practices, troubleshoot issues, and reinforce execution of the feed program
- Oversee operations at company-managed feed mills.
- Manage feed budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to feed execution and costs
- Analyzes and interprets production data
- Creates and manages reports related to ingredients, complete feed, and financial analysis associated with feed metrics and financial goals
- Communicate dietary projections and specialty ingredient needs (e.g., medications, additives) to feed mills
- Evaluate in-farm feed systems and feed bin configurations to support accurate delivery and execution
- Monitor biosecurity requirements tied to feed delivery based on farm health status
- Identify and address feed-related issues such as mill delays, delivery disruptions, or emergency needs
- Support development of SOPs, training, and educational resources on feeding programs
- Lead the Quality Assurance program.
- Provides technical support to veterinarians, production team, and contract growers
- Keeps up to date with regulatory changes
- Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or related field (required); Master's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in swine production and leadership
- Any similar combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Familiarity with contemporary record keeping systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to interact with team members, producers, and industry allies in a professional manner
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills to creatively solve problems and build consensus with others for recommendations
- Ability to adapt easily to change
- Identify necessary actions to achieve task completion and to obtain results with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrates knowledge of overall business strategy, production, and feed operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- The ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay.
Assist in preoperative assessments, including verifying patient information, obtaining consent, and preparing patients for surgery.
