Located on Highway 99, in Aurora Village Mall, UW Medicine Primary Care at Shoreline offers primary care appointments six days a week, including evenings and same-day appointments.
The clinic's board-certified doctors are dedicated to providing personalized care throughout all stages of life and offer a complete spectrum of primary care services. These include family medicine with obstetrics, internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, obstetrics, gynecology, travel medicine, nutrition services, optometry, aesthetic medicine and sleep medicine.

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records
+ Perform injections
+ Prepare and clean exam rooms
+ Submit medication prior authorizations
+ Recognize symptoms of common medical illnesses and accurately report to provider
+ Act as a liaison between patient, patient's family and providers
+ Assist provider with procedures and medical exams
+ Perform point of care testing and report abnormal laboratory values

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Cross train in phlebotomy and obtain MA-P license within 90 days of employment
+ Prepare patients for radiological procedures. Verify the site of the exam and instruct patients regarding procedures.
+ Position patients and adjust equipment for taking x-rays following established procedures. Select length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on an individual patient basis
+ Provide protection for patient and self in accordance with prescribed safety standards
+ Examine radiology images for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion
+ Deliver images to PACS for reading/ interpretation by providers and UW Radiologists
+ Maintain radiology room Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies
+ Clean and make minor adjustments to radiological equipment
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry, or eligible to have ARRT completed within the employee's probationary period.
+ Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist/X-ray Technician, before completion of probationary period.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Establishes and maintains effective relationships with patients, care givers, and/or their legal representatives, IDT members, PCPs, other collaborating physicians/providers, and facility staff when applicable
+ Performs an initial comprehensive assessment on all newly enrolled patients and provides ongoing care thereafter, including visits to address changes in condition
+ Develops a patient management care plan upon enrollment and updates it as needed when changes in condition warrant or following hospitalization

**Required Qualifications:**
