Responsibilities
- Lead and execute research projects for personal care applications from concept to completion
- Develop new products and enhance existing formulations, ensuring technical feasibility
- Conduct complex chemical analyses and testing procedures; design and implement experimental methodologies
- Interpret and document analytical results; maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration standards
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and safety regulations
- Manage project timelines, set milestones, monitor progress, and prepare technical documentation and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Control, ESHA, Marketing, and Sales
- Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders and interface with customers on technical matters
- Train and mentor junior chemists, contributing to team knowledge and growth
- Recommend process improvements, select appropriate analytical methods, and provide technical input on product development initiatives
