YOUR SCHEDULE
Our Elderly Care Medication Aide can work on a full- or part-time basis. Day and evening shifts are available.
YOUR DAY
Our Elderly Care Medication Aide works hand-in-hand with a licensed nurse to deliver accurate, comprehensive medical treatments for our residents. You thoroughly review medication orders and closely follow daily schedules as you visit residents and administer meds. Following all dosage requirements, you ensure each resident receives the appropriate care. You also go above and beyond by supporting our residents' personal needs and providing great companionship. Attentively, you help residents bathe, care for their skin, and change any dressings. You connect with residents and their families to strengthen bonds and create a warm, supportive environment where their medical needs are appropriately met.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current caregiver certification
- Completion of designated training programs as prescribed by the wellness director or supervisor
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, and resident transfers
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to upholding their dignity and privacy
