As a Pastry Cook, you would be responsible creating, preparing, producing and baking all pastries, breads, rolls and desserts for food and beverage outlets in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and ensuring production requirements are met for all aspects of banquet, outlet desserts, breads and breakfast pastries

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the HotSOS dashboard for incoming service tickets in real time.
  • Assign and dispatch tickets to the appropriate departments or team members based on priority and type of request.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on open tickets and escalate delays or unresolved issues to the appropriate manager.
  • Close out completed tickets and ensure proper documentation and notes are entered.
  • Communicate and coordinate tasks with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and other departments to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Analyze recurring issues and trends to support process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports on ticket volume, response times, and resolution status to management.
  • Assist with training staff on proper use of the HotSOS system, if needed.
  • Serve as the system super user and liaise with the vendor or IT team for troubleshooting and updates.

**Shift:** Various - must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
**Pay Rate:** The pay rate for this role is $18.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
**What will I be doing?**
The Welcome Liaison reports to the Parking Manager and is the first point of interaction for a majority of guests as they arrive on the resort property. This individual represents the hotel in a warm, enthusiastic, and courteous manner as they welcome arriving guests and greet departing guests. Because of this responsibility, this individual thrives on providing exceptional service to hundreds of people per day
+ Maintains an alert and attentive demeanor at all times in addition to remaining calm during periods of heavy business volumes
+ Reports any damage or malfunctions of parking equipment immediately to their supervisor or manager
+ Advises their supervisor or manager when assistance is needed at parking areas of the resort
+ Deploys and stores signage when required
+ Works in unison with other Welcome Liaisons to ensure a consistent rotation through the assigned Welcome Liaison post up locations
**What are we looking for?**
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year of hospitality or customer service related experience
· Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and writing) in English.
· Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger.
· Ability to read English to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks; to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists.
· Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions.
· Considerable knowledge and ability to communicate clear directions to nearby local attractions and hotel facilities and services
