We are seeking a Cloud Services Engineer who combines deep Microsoft/Azure expertise with leadership qualities to help drive our cloud-first strategy. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and securing modern cloud services, while mentoring team members and enabling business agility. The successful candidate will have proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and cloud security frameworks, and will serve as both a technical leader and collaborator across IT and the business.
This role is ideal for a security-minded engineer with a passion for building scalable, resilient cloud solutions that improve operations, strengthen security posture, and deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) aligned with a cloud-first strategy.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power BI Platform to enable secure collaboration and productivity.
- Own lifecycle management of Intune, Entra ID, and related M365 security/compliance solutions.
- Implement and continuously improve security controls, management, and conditional access policies across the environment.
- Remediate vulnerabilities, drive security hardening initiatives, and enforce FTC Safeguards and other compliance requirements.
- Lead incident response collaboration with the security team, ensuring rapid detection, containment, and recovery.
- Champion Single Sign-On (SSO) and modern authentication practices across the enterprise.
- Reduce non-integrated accounts by building seamless onboarding/offboarding processes tied to Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Enhance user experience through automation and streamlined workflows.
- Develop automation (PowerShell, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines) to streamline operations and improve consistency.
- Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks (e.g., PagerDuty, Azure Monitor) to ensure proactive response and system resilience.
- Drive adoption of AI/automation where it can enhance performance, security, or user experience.
- Act as a technical mentor for IT team members, sharing knowledge and developing cloud skillsets across the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with application, network, and security teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Represent IT in business discussions, translating complex cloud concepts into business for executives.
- Contribute to IT governance, project planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- This role includes participation in on-call rotations and responding to after-hours incidents as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience engineering and administering Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Proven expertise with Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related M365 services.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, FTC Safeguards, and PCI DSS.) and hands-on remediation.
- Proficiency in automation (PowerShell, Terraform, scripting) and CI/CD concepts.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Sentinel, PagerDuty, etc.).
- Demonstrated leadership skills (mentoring, project leadership, and cross-functional influence).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. This hybrid role bridges desktop support with back-end systems administration, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure administration, and VoIP configuration (GoToConnect). The ideal candidate will provide frontline technical support while also managing and optimizing cloud-based systems and device management tools. Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
- Configure and manage Intune and Autopilot for device enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.
- Troubleshoot and support GoToConnect VoIP system including user setup, call routing, and endpoint configurations.
