Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager the Supply Chain Analyst will be assisting of customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. Hold up material manager or director to develop, implement GPSC reports, data research trends to facilitate resolutions making.

What a typical day looks like:

• Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
• Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers,
• Strong verbal skillset Interfaces with customer and supplier in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.
• Develops and guides implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
• Manages component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.
• Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
• Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies.
• Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
• Develop and implement cost take down strategies.
• Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.
• Manage regional supplier contract negotiations, which includes Memorandums of
• Comprehension, Non-disclosure and regional pricing agreements.
• Measure and report Purchase Price Variance and initiate action plans.
• Monitor and manage supplier times.
• Mitigates shortages, excess on order and excess on hand.
• Participate on and help global and regional commodity teams.
• Contribute information/data on top spend suppliers for quarterly scorecards.
• Manages material cost reviews.
• Improve gross material margin.
• Identify, implement actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.
• Reconciliation process with customer (PPV, Premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete inventory, Non-cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR), etc.)
• Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan.
• Coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hard call process.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain design/management or other related area.

This is a strategic leadership role in Supply Chain to lead our supply chain operations and ensure seamless coordination between various key functions. This role will oversee warehouse management, delivery management, and the supply and demand function, with direct responsibility for managing the performance and development of four managers: Warehouse Manager Malaysia & Singapore, Delivery Manager, and Supply Demand Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in supply chain leadership, with expertise in optimizing operations, improving customer service, and driving cost efficiencies. Warehouse Management . Oversee the Warehouse Managers for both Malaysia & Singapore, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and dispatching of goods. Key focus areas are: Implement best practices for inventory management to ensure optimal product availability and minimize storage costs. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations within warehouse operations. Optimize warehouse layouts and processes to increase productivity and maintain high service levels. Delivery Management . Lead the Delivery Manager in developing and implementing strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to customers. Key focus areas are: Develop effective strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to customers. Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers in improving transportation and delivery costs. Monitor performance metrics for on-time delivery, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, making adjustments as needed. Supply & Demand Management . Supervise the Supply Demand Manager to ensure the balance of supply and demand through effective forecasting and planning. Key focus areas are: Oversee accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and merchandising teams. Lead efforts to optimize inventory levels, ensuring the right amount of stock is available without overstocking or stockouts. Implement strong monitoring and action plans to manage slow-moving or non-moving stock effectively to prevent costs to the company. Leadership and Team Management : Lead and mentor the Warehouse Managers for Malaysia & Singapore, Delivery Manager, and Supply Demand Manager, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. Ensure each manager has clear goals and performance metrics, providing regular feedback and development opportunities. Drive the professional growth of the supply chain team, ensuring they have the tools and skills necessary to succeed. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and improve supply chain efficiency. Strategic Planning and Execution : Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and increased operational efficiency across all supply chain functions. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of products to meet customer needs. Risk Management and Compliance : Identify potential risks and challenges within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure all supply chain functions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay informed about changes in the supply chain landscape and propose improvements to minimize disruption risks. Any other ad hoc tasks related to business development assigned by the management team from time to time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are preferred. Expertise in warehouse operations, logistics management, and demand planning. Advanced knowledge of supply chain software (e.g., ERP, SAP). Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Physical fitness to engage in outdoor activities on a regular basis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of managing warehouse, delivery, and supply-demand functions. What will you do?

• Define and update the parameters of supply and stock management including ramp-up & ramp-down to achieve the target service level while reducing unhealthy stock and express cost.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of key data: Lead Time, Quantity, Stocking policy.
• Manage the continuous needs/resources balance (MRP) for raw material, components, sub-assemblies and finished products.
• Work with Suppliers to manage the customer needs and improve their performance through root cause actions/8D/Kaizen event.
• Manages planning/delivery for Large projects to ensure warehouse availability

• Proficient with using computers and familiar with applications (access, excel, etc.).
• Effective communication, facilitation and strong negotiation skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to plan and organize effectively and has strong decision-making skills.
• Experience with conflict management and resolution.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
