**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, and requisitioning within assigned areas of high value goods, such as Surgical Services, Cath Lab, EP and Imaging. Duties are not limited to the supply room, but extend to all areas of the hospital. Responsible for pulling products for cases as assigned. Monitors and assures inventory levels meet demand tracking usage & setting inventory levels for specific group of products, in support of PAR & Perpetual locations.
**Essential Key Job Responsibilities**
+ Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed.
+ Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas.
+ Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care.
+ Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits; notifies supervisor of outdated or slow moving inventory.
+ Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items, and issues and credits materials from the inventory management point‐of‐use system.
+ Labels bins and handles requests to change pars; maintains clean and orderly stock locations.
+ Works in collaboration with reprocessing resources, leadership, and buyers to optimize usage of reprocessed products; acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management for assigned high value areas, such as Surgical Services, Cath Lab, EP and Imaging.
+ Conducts annual inventory count to determine asset value and additional inventories as requested.
+ Manages consigned inventory and processes bill‐only's as appropriate.

**Required Education and Experience**
+ High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
+ Minimum of three (3) years' experience of inventory management or other relevant experience.

+ Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including both front end and pharmacy. Supports pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. Champions On-Shelf Availability and is responsible for receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes. Validates and ensures accuracy of planograms.
+ Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the proper use of reports and system applications, which have an impact on the accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
+ Responsible for executing and maintaining front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques, and filing claims for warehouse and vendor overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods including prescription drugs.
+ In designated stores, as required, opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups, required cash handling and cashier responsibilities, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
**Customer Experience**
+ Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. In designated stores, when serving as the leader on duty, resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
+ Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).
**Operations**
+ Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including but not limited to creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
+ Scans in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries. Focuses on One Box receiving. Takes the appropriate action marking delivery as received if the product was physically delivered, contacting vendor for past undelivered scheduled receipts, and opening tickets as needed to correct inaccurate orders.
+ Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, verifies all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received at the store. Completes or verifies postings of all pharmacy warehouse orders, ABC prescription and OTC orders daily, secondary vendor orders, flu and dropship orders performing any necessary tote audits, and accurately reporting any shortages or damaged product.
+ Completes On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments, executing disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration, completes scan outs/ scan outs returns on all subscribed departments including vendor/ DSD departments and pharmacy scan outs.
+ Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge,completes pharmacy inventory activities including but not limited to pharmacy recalls following Pharmacy Hazardous Waste Policy, vendor returns, non-controlled, and damaged salvage returns. Facilitates excess inventory returns or interstore pharmacy transfers where applicable for non-returnable ABC overstock. Verifies posting of all pharmacy/ prescription claims.
+ Completes execution of all pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, and markdowns deletes. Responsible for basic department pricing, including daily price changes, accurate pricing with correct signage, and reliable and timely completion of any additional regulatory pricing tasks.
+ Responsible for supporting front end and pharmacy ordering by ordering expense items. Monitors pharmacy manual orders to identify excess orders. Maintains consigned inventory and orders as required.
+ Ensures all designated pull & quarantine item on-hands are updated and placed in the designated holding area.
+ Maintains accurate inventory counts. Maintains the accuracy of on-hand quantities including but not limited to basic departments, stockroom, overstock locations.
+ Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, maintains accurate inventory counts and accuracy of on-hand quantities in pharmacy and completes pharmacy smart counts.
+ Ensures the store maintains inventory compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
+ Assists in the maintenance of inventory records, including receiving and posting of all products (in the front-end)) received at the store in all inventory systems. Organizes files and retains all invoices/receipts/return authorizations necessary for all inventory activities.
+ Helps to prepare for physical inventory and supports the physical inventory day activities, including but not limited to preparing sales floor, stockroom, and pharmacy for inventory and auditing the third party team on the day of inventory.
+ Supports keeping all counters and shelves clean and well merchandised.

What you’ll do…

We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful professional to help the shipping, receiving, and inventory responsibilities to support the Operations & Maintenance (O&M), the Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Construction groups with inventory coordination, shipping, receiving, and other responsibilities to allow safe and efficient inventory operations. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have experience in inventory/warehousing and freight logistics. This role will help warehouse / inventory operations while creating a safe environment, maintaining quality and minimizing unnecessary costs.


You’ll make an impact by:

· Help all shipping/receiving operations and guarantee inventory integrity through enforcement of inventory management policies.

· Help mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

· Receive and count stock items, arrange dispatching of parts and record data manually or using a computer keeping an up-to-date Inventory count and maintains critical spares inventory at or above minimum allowed quantity.

· Learn to run inventory reports by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

· Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

· Check parts received. Communicate with shop inventory person to rectify problems, such as damage, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.

· Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

· Examine contents and compare them with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.

· Learn to prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials to domestic locations as needed.

· Help record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.

· Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

· Work with the safety department to report, repair and replace broken tools.

· Responsible for the safe shipping/loading and receiving/unloading of all items utilizing equipment that are manual, motorized, or other in nature.

· Operate forklift for uploading and offloading parts.

· Operate the crane and rigging as needed.

· Interface with technicians and other team members that request parts and make sure that they have the appropriate authorization prior to releasing.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records across all storage locations. This role ensures proper inventory levels are maintained to support operational demands, coordinates with various departments to resolve discrepancies, and implements best practices for inventory control, stock rotation, and warehouse organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems
  • Perform regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with warehouse and logistics teams
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of inventory items

  • Maintain and manage inventory records using Fusion, the Intuitive Machines inventory management system. Stay proficient with Fusion’s evolving features and conduct annual training sessions for new and existing employees as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels to proactively prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate the procurement and receipt of new stock, ensuring proper documentation, storage, and allocation of inventory.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to forecast and meet future inventory requirements.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock management and streamline operations.
  • Identify and manage obsolete or damaged inventory in accordance with company policies, including proper disposal or reallocation.

  • Participate in yearly ISO9001/AS9100 audit.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience.

  • Proven experience in process efficiency analysis and implementation; Lean Six Sigma training and/or certifications preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The goal of the Junior Specialist, Inventory is to execute, coordinate, and support the business by

establishing, maintaining, and optimizing our global inventory system. At this level, the job holder is familiar with most inventory tasks and is able to perform well-defined tasks with little guidance. Proactively reports on the status of his/her work and provides feedback as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Confirms material deliveries from other regions or suppliers by executing goods receipt postings in the ERP-System and delivers material to target location.

  • Maintain oversight of incoming items from different global locations to consolidate and resolve related issues.

  • Provides requested inventory parts to internal customers and records them accordingly.

  • Supports in loading and unloading of goods.

  • Participates in permanent inventory count.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES AND EDUCATION:

  • A vocational training, apprenticeship or similar education in warehouse operations or related field is required

  • Certification in transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean, and air) is preferred

  • Certification to operate forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred

  • Experience with load securing methods is preferred
